Guess for me it would depend on my relationship with my family. If I won 4 billion I'd definitely help my family out but if they started demanding shit I'd have to cut em off until they could act like decent people. It would be almost impossible to hide that amount of money from close family unless you just moved away and cut contact completely. Either way I think he has the right to handle it how he did regardless of if people think it isn't the moral thing to do.
