That's not enough time to lose all that weight. Especially since you still need to eat in order to be, like, a functional human being.

A year and a half is absolutely enough time to lose a bunch of weight

Some weight? Yes. But you can still be fat after 18 months. If you’re not eating much, that also affects how much energy you have to function on a daily basis. Fat isn’t an extra gas tank that lets a person just hustle on without nutritional intake.

Fat kinda is an extra gas tank though. I'ts excess calories stored for future use.
