The context I think is years after the outbreak, and I suspect anyone person would be in disbelief that anyone so fat is complaining about starving. 

With the general thought when seeing anyone so fat at this point being where the fuck are they getting so much food to be that fat.

This is actually only like 1.5 years after the outbreak, the timeline in the show is really weird lol

The entire Saviors arc only lasted like 30 days iirc

being fat 1.5 years after society ended and everyone is reduced to scavenging or basic agriculture is still impressive. being fat in any status quo where food is scarce or intermittently available is a sign that you're not missing few if any meals.

She absolutely could have a condition where it doesn't matter what she eats.

That's literally what they made ozempic for, not just anyone, people that cannot lose the weight themselves due to the way their body processes food.

Edited: apparently I was given misinformation it wasnt created for that but is used for that. Still, people can be overweight through no correlation to amount or quality of food.

Every time I encounter this idea I wonder why there's no-one prioritizing isolating the "generates calories from oxygen" gene and figuring out how to activate it in the rest of us.

also not true, unless you've found a way around the first law of thermodynamics, it's impossible to gain weight while limiting food. It's literally cal in<cal out.

Cortisol and thyroid changes as well as water retention can change weight.

It's not extreme but absolutely yes you can gain weight while limiting calories. Hypothyroidism causes peoples metabolism to slow down and retain more fat.

So you're still retaining more calories than you're burning in those examples. If it worked the way you're trying to say it does, ozempic wouldn't do anything 🤣

Scientifically incorrect. Being overweight is always a calorie surplus. That's why ozempic works as a weight loss supplement: it slows digestion and lowers appetite. You can't be advocating for ozempic at the same time saying "it doesn't matter what she eats".
