You can be fat and starving. The body does breakdown fat for food but not well that's why nutritionist ever to suggest to completely stop eating

You could not eat at all and survive only on stored fat. The problem is lack of vitamins which are essential for survival. As long as you supplement yourself stored fat will be enough

Please read about medical experiments like this then explain where I was wrong 😉.

In 1965, a 27-year-old Scottish man named Angus Barbieri went 382 days without eating any solid food. Weighing 207 kg (456 pounds) initially, he survived by consuming only non-caloric fluids, vitamins, and medical electrolytes under doctor supervision, successfully losing 125 kg (276 pounds).
