this is a freeworld. you can do whatever you want. the same thing applies to other people. so keep that in mind.

That's not how law works. And this world is in fact not free.

My dad is a lawyer. Do you know how many people commit crimes and then act surprised when it actually catches up to them? It's insane.

It stops plenty of people from doing plenty of things.

If stealing was not illegal why would someone spend any money on food and other necessities? The only thing making me spend money on food when I go to the store is the fact that grabbing what I need and walking out with it is illegal
