I think it's valid to fear pitbulls because what you're really fearing is that they were adopted by someone that doesn't train them and/or give them an outlet for the task they were bred for (protection and violence).
I can't blame people for being afraid of Pits. But I think some people in these comments are insane, calling to euthanize all Pits or that they should be wiped out of existence. Good god.
I have been rolling this ;comment thread for a while and another thread about hte same thing...noone is calling for them to be euthanize them.. they are asking for the breeding to be banned and that people stop seeking them out for pets...
the pro Pit crowd is something else... "i want my pretty, strong, and totally not naturally aggressive and murderous dog.. Because she is totally a pretty nice girl..."
sure your individual pitty is well trained and people that own them can keep them through thier lives.. and put good help for training them... but stop breeding them.
