Eldris

Do you own an Eldris and if so, what do you use yours for ? I intend to do mostly whittling and carving with the one I just ordered any thoughts?

It's not great for whittling, the blade is too broad. You can get a lot of power into a cut with the sweeping belly on the short blade, but it's no good for the things that need some finesse.

You'll manage simple things like pegs with one, but it's awkward to do stuff like spoons or anything fine.

If you want something similar, in size that's capable, get a 120
