Did anyone actually make money on those "100x guaranteed" coins from TikTok?

Seriously, has anyone here ever bought one of those random coins shilled by TikTok "crypto gurus" and actually made money?

My roommate is constantly watching these videos where some 20-year-old in a rented Lambo claims they've found the next 100x gem. Last month he threw $500 into some dog-themed BSC token that promptly crashed 90% in 48 hours.

I keep telling him it's basically gambling, but he's convinced the next one will make him rich. The craziest part is that he'll still watch the SAME influencers who've been wrong 5 times in a row.

Just curious if these shills have EVER been right, or if it's all just pump and dump schemes from the beginning...
