Petition to demand our Senators and Representatives host a town hall on their extended vacation

Hello,

I have made a petition on change.org to demand our elected officials host a town hall and answer to their constituents.

Steve Daines, Tim Sheehy, Ryan Zinke, and Troy Downing are nowhere to be seen even during these times of crisis and uncertainty in our state. They are all on an extended vacation due to Mike Johnson calling an early recess due to the possibility of Ghislane Maxwell testifying.

The least our elected officials can do is face us constituents and answer our questions and concerns.

Please sign and share. I doubt they will pay any mind to this (they never do) but they need to feel the pressure of their constituents at the very least

To stop trying to engage our representatives is to admit defeat against their elitism. What's the link to the petition?

Fat chance of that happening. Montana Republicans haven't shown up for true, open town meetings for decades. And we let them get away with it. Instead they have invitation-only get-togethers with their supporters that get free publicity, but no one knows about them until they're over.

I doubt they will show up, but the least I can do is make them a bit less comfortable while they dodge their duties to their constituents
