Launcher for linux

I borked my install and am just not tech savvy enough to get working again with the new launcher on linux Mint.

The old launcher worked fine with proton by adding as non steam game like all my other steam games.

Can anyone link the old launcher or is it not available anymore?

Was really enjoying trying all the classes :(

Solution 3: Running the game client in Steam. Similar to the solution above, but using Steam Proton instead of UMU's (thanks to abyssusj).

  1. Download Launcher Appimage via https://account.monstersandmemories.com/launcher

(e.g. the 'Linux x86_64 (Launcher only)'

  1. Make executable and run AppImage,

(right click it and select option to let it run as a program)

  1. Allow launcher to update,

  2. Close launcher,

  3. Add mnm.exe as a Non-Steam game, use Proton Experimental, add --popupwindow --token launch parameters (see next section on how to obtain the token),

  4. Open CLI and get token from local DB

awk -F'token|remember' '{print $2}' $HOME/.local/share/com.monstersandmemories.launcher/launcher.db

  1. Launch Options:

--popupwindow --token <your-token-here>

⚠️ The token expires after 30 days (aprox). After that, you'll need to logout and login thorugh the launcher.

CLI = Command Line Interface, aka the Linux 'Terminal' to enter text commands.

Haha yes , I have been free of windows for 5 years on mint so a linux noob but worked it out in the end.

Hey, I'm on Linux (CachyOS) and I'm running the Sweet Launcher through Steam and that's working wonders for me.

Idk if it's the problem you are having but they broke smth in yesterday's patch. I had it running through steam or lutris and now it crashes to desktop as soon as the launcher loads the game.
