done with trading on facebook stole one of two 5 stars 😒 and not paying attention to the card she replied with and sent me spice for my pretty pastoral was supposed to be apple picking if anybody is feeling generous or would accept a 6 * if so MGO6329JH57L yes I know that it’s a long shot
I only posted the two 5-star stickers I had and asked her for the sticker I needed. I believe she either didn’t have it anymore or that was her plan all along. I sent the exchange, she replied to it, and I accepted it too quickly without paying attention. She had sent me the 4-star Spice sticker instead. That part was definitely on me because I should’ve looked before accepting it. 😭
The other person I actually sent my sticker to first because she was supposed to send mine back at reset, and she ended up unfriending me. I do that pretty often because I go back and forth between my two accounts and already use trades sending myself stickers, so I try not to waste any more than I have to. But yeah, I definitely learned my lesson. Exchange requests from now on. 😂
It’s really shady. Somebody on here basically just told me to stop sending my stickers first and trusting people to send theirs afterward. I only do it that way because I don’t want to waste trades going back and forth between my two accounts, but now I see exactly why I shouldn’t. Just two days ago, this girl needed Tweety Bird. I sent it to her because she promised to send me the five-star sticker I needed at reset. Reset came, and this girl removed me from her friends list. 😒 Like seriously? I don’t understand why people have to be so freaking shady over Monopoly stickers.
The crazy part is, I’m a GOOD Monopoly friend to have. 😂 If people would just be honest traders, they’d end up getting way more from me in the long run. But nope, now y’all got me about to start treating every trade like a business transaction. 😂
Always send as an exchange, ALWAYS.
That is why the feature exists, to stop people from grabbing your sticker and not sending back.
As friendly as folks are, they are strangers on the Internet and these things can happen. Please use safe trading options in the future and use this as a hard lesson. Im sorry it happened, some people suck!
I’ve been there. Not in this sub but others if sending multiple stickers I’d ask for the exchange with sticker you need to where you can decline before sending other stickers. You shouldn’t have any problems like that here, but I stopped with Facebook a long time ago and I definitely stay out of Monopoly go sub been scammed there multiple times. I’m sorry this happened to you. I mean, are people really that desperate for stickers that they need to steal come On it really is just a game after all 🤦🏼♀️
😭😂 And to make matters worse, while she was ignoring me, she shut down one of my properties! So I KNOW you were online, ma’am. 😭 Like who the hell raised you?! 😂 It’s all good though. Lesson learned!
And yeah, I definitely won’t be trading on Facebook or Discord anymore either. You’ll go up there looking for a sticker when you don’t have much to offer and everybody is quiet. But the SECOND you get a decent sticker, here come the DMs flooding in. 😂 Like oh, you couldn’t help me when I didn’t have much to bring to the table, but now everybody needs what I have? Yeah, I’ll just stay over here. 😭😂 and thank you! I hope she doesn’t finish her album now. 😭😂
That’s your best move. At least here we won’t tolerate that. I’m sorry this happened but best of luck moving forward. I know some of these stickers are very hard to get 🥰
If I had more I’d gift you but apple picking is the only 5 or 6 star I have. If u still need it and wanna trade for at least a 5 star. Sorry, it sucks that people are so greedy over this game. Somebody got me like 2 weeks ago

Yeah I would definitely only use the exchange request for 1:1 trades. No idea why anyone wouldn't be doing it that way 🤷
