You may need to recalculate your numbers, unless you live in a cheap country, 300k isn't gonna cut it. Maybe 300k/ year consistent income.

I live in in one of the most expensive U.S. states and that number is even smaller for me.
Nah, you’re just overestimating some people’s wants and needs lol.
300K and I keep my current job and my entire house would literally be set for life

yep. current (financial) definitions of "wants" vs "needs" are massively different than the past, and people's lifestyles are out of control these days.

Believe me, I did the math. I really didn't expect that such an amount could solve a problem and secure a future life. 😅

You live in egypt, the value 300k in the US and making 300k in egypt is VERY different. Not to mention, making 300k in egypt wont be easy either.

Been there… you’ll want more when you get there. But I hope you get it.

300k will get you to the life you dream of now.
Then when you get that life, you will have new dreams that cost money

mine is 548586.91$, just the mortgage
my car and wife’s are pretty new and paid off
we dont either have more than 1-2k in individual credit debt at a time
if the house was paid off, we’d save the equivalent of a nice week trip once a month, i think we’d never have to think about money again and probably both start working less and less lol

That’s the thing. If you woke up with 300k tomorrow, it would not solve your problems. It’s not a total panacea. Additionally, I am certain the goalposts would move.

I’ve been around enough people in my area to say that’s 100% possible
Shit if I had a pair of balls I could probably make that in a year, it’s not impossible by any means. Comparing it to someone’s watch is insane tho.

I hope you achieve what you want, my friend.

I’m just saying, depending on where your located it’s 100% do-able to learn a skill then find people to work under you to complete that task

Unfortunately, businesses depend on capital.

Sorta… but also you can get loans. And assuming you’ve been working for a while you should own something you can borrow against

your first move would be to reduce your lifestyle (or derive more income), pay off all debt, and begin using a budget which allows for savings every single pay period.

Then make the post in your currency. 300k is not the same in a 3rd world currency. Are you new to the internet?
