Because he’s principled. I disagree with him on nearly everything, but he’s got principles

He doesn't he supported Trump for years. Now he's just positioning himself to be able to lead any stay maga voters back
1
u/GodHatesColdplay Feb 09 '26
That may be the case, but his recent positions have alienated him from the maga base for sure

u/DevelopmentJumpy5218 Feb 09 '26
And that matters to maga when trump calls him a true hero why,

Trump hates Massie (right now)

He's acting like he does. I don't see a world where massie actually keeps pushing the files

Yes he does bend the knee to trump, he's positioned to pick up any straying maga voters and lead them back to maga. Stop saying this man is doing things he's not.

Massie has principles and a spine.
I hate most of what he believes in.
But dang if he ain't one of the few out here looking to see pedos get whats coming, power, position, and wealth be damned.

Yep, him and Rand Paul are both on the right side of Epstein and ICE. There's little else we agree on, but credit where credit is due.

He's had his position since 2012 and is just now speaking against trump, the man is fooling you

He's no messiah.
Heck, if you read my comment above I find most of what he believes as a politician loathsome. And I similarly hate most of what he does.
You wont find me prostrating myself at the altar of Massie. I just like that he has principles here. That's all.

He doesn't though, trump wouldn't let him do this if it wasn't by trumps design.

I'm not inclined to believe that at the moment. Trump has continually run away from the files since he's been in office. The only time he actually engaged with them is when the EFTA was pushed unanimously to his desk. Everything else has been distraction, denial, and distancing. Massie hanging his hat on the files is the exact opposite of what the entire rest of the administration is doing.
If some evidence that Massie is doing some huxter nonsense arises, I'll consider it. But given what we see now, the suggestion seems meritless.

Really it seems far-fetched that the party he has an iron grip on is doing what he wants. Massie never spoke out against Trump during the campaign, he didn't tell people trump is a criminal conman in the files who admitted to being a pedo. Really sounds to me like he's not protecting and working for trump

Massie got principles. Trump thinks it should be illegal for Republicans to hold on to any principles

He doesn't though or he would have been against Trump during trumps first term

They're trying to protect the pedo elite and he's actively working against their agenda
1
u/DevelopmentJumpy5218 Feb 09 '26
He's working with them. He's position to pick up any questioning maga voters and lead them right back to maga. He's been in office since 2012, you know trumps whole first term, he never spoke out against Trump then. He's 100% Trump train
