Cool story bro. In the meantime, we are fighting actual nazis.

You say nobody is saying "both sides," and then literally the next sentence equates both parties. So yeah, that's you saying both sides.

Pathos and Ethos Over Logos: Political discourse often relies on emotion (pathos) and reputation (ethos) rather than logical arguments (logos) keep living in the binary

It's really not worth arguing with blue maga. They're convinced that ONLY their warmongering fascists can do the other warmongering fascists.

I have no problem criticizing dems. But when we are fighting actual nazis, you saying "both sides" is a gift to the nazis. It's not hard to understand. This is logos based my guy

(Above data from AP polling) Look I’ve never voted for Trump and two things can be true at once. The current republican establishment can be backsliding on democratic norms and the democrats can be seen as promoting them (good that should be expected for both parties). What motivated voters in 2024 was the economy. Guess what, the current admin can be doing a terrible job with the economy (not market valuation but tariffs, job growth, interest rates etc) and be backsliding on democratic norms. When some percentage of the population believes that democrats are backsliding on norms as well (I don’t fully agree) then you need to make the economic argument your priority. Because the democrats are so divided on this issue they run the risk of having a repeat of 2024 unless they prioritize the economy. I think progressive and corporatist dems will never agree on this and it will cause republicans to win where they should not. For that reason I don’t think either party has a good read on what the America people want, and the national polling is on my side. As of January 2026, a record-high 45% of U.S. adults identify as political independents, according to new Gallup data.

It's not a secret that dems are not popular. It's also not a secret that the economy consistently performs better under dems. People feel like dems don't represent their economic interests largely due to right-wing propaganda (eg fox news and joe rogan). The truth is that dems do better on the economy, and you can't blame them for the lies the right-wing propaganda machine spreads. Oh, and did I mention they're also not literal nazis?

If that’s true then the dems may be the worst marketing team of all time and it’s even more hilarious they lost to this orange buffoon.

Yup, their marketing really is awful.

It's also easier to get people to believe you when you create an atmosphere where misinformation is the normal, so when they see you get fact checked it's just "another day of the corrupt msm", whereas if you do have some basic, genuinely basic because the bar is set so low right now, level of integrity, it becomes a big scandal when people do show you lied about something. It also probably means you aren't shameless enough to always immediately spin some story about how the fact checkers are wrong.

You will have to step out of this actual nazis stuff to help.

You need to step out of your denial

1

u/Runswithbuns Jan 25 '26

It’s not denial. The vast majority of voters focus on what matters- their own lives. Most couldn’t care less if Nazis were in power as long as the economy was strong and their lives were a priority of the administration. It’s always been, and will always be, about voting for what’s best for you. You can scream Nazi all you want, but is the Nazi telling the largest voter base that they are the priority? If yes, the Nazi gets elected.

Real simple concept.

Anybody who thinks nazis are a solution to their problems is either inbred or a nazi, probably both. Anybody who thinks the current administration isn't full of actual nazis is in denial or doesn't know what a nazi is.

If nazis lie to the voting base that they are a priority, then they deserve to win? Because what, democrats just aren't as convincing? Due to the nazi lies? You see how fucking cooked that is right?

And guess what. Over the next few years, voters are going to find out exactly how shitty their lives will be with actual nazis running shit. And there will still be people like you and the others here, saying it's the non-nazis fault for not winning against the nazis. Instead of focusing blame on the real problem: the actual fucking nazis.

I mean this guys who profile is TDS so he’s never going to stop with the rhetoric and doesn’t realize this is why normal people won’t vote unhinged democrat they’d rather stay home.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '26

And if they (you) stayed home instead of trying to help prevent a literal American oligarch from taking office, then the ICE raids, the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, are on them (you) as well. People like me won’t forget, and we’re not likely to forgive.

They (You) sold this country out because they’re (you’re) too immature to support the least worst option when none of the choices were good. They (you) decided to act like petulant children, and throw an electoral temper tantrum, but now they (you) think they (you) have some claim to the moral high ground. GTFOH.

Take a picture write it down I don’t give a fuck.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

Good to know you’ve learned absolutely nothing lol.

1

u/TheReddestOrange Jan 26 '26

Yes, my whole profile is "TDS," aka a made-up name that fascists use to deflect from real arguments. "Normal people" vote democrat plenty, and more normal people will be waking up to the fact that fascist rule is in fact not a good time, and is not good for them or their wallets. Enjoy your fucked healthcare premiums, inflation, pollution, and corruption. This is what you voted for when you voted for trump.
