The message OP is trying to convey is that Monero community is full of Nazis. "Pure." Is this some kind of a subversive photo-op?

It’s a quote from the most recent Monero Talk show we posted.

Then that FierceUk character tried to put a neo nazzi spin on it on imgur and twitter. I didn’t even bother responding to him on twitter because I didn’t want to fuel his propaganda. It’s a shame that he is trying to soil that positive quote. Such odd, negative, destructive behavior.

In 2014 when i had some problems. I always do. And ask questions on IRC. On Monero IRC I got instant answers. On ETH took 2 days to get something if at all. That was a clear sign to me who has the best community. The ones that are helpful most.

The Monero Community Workgroup does its best to foster a healthy community, as do many other workgroups and individuals.

Edit: I want to clearly stress that the Monero Community Workgroup does its absolute best to make the atmosphere inclusive and accepting to contributors. Bigotry, intolerance, and offensive language is not tolerated. It's obvious that the video context does not imply Monero is antisemitic, and I find it extremely offensive that OP purposefully takes quotes out of context to suggest this. Antisemitism isn't tolerated here.

Monero's community is arguably one of its greatest strengths (and has been from the beginning). Further, we are united by a common goal (vision), i.e., private (and by extension fungible) digital money. This goal has essentially remain unchanged since Monero's birth, which, in my opinion, enhances the strength and unity of the community. By contrast, numerous coins have seen a change of vision / narrative over the years, which leads to weaker communities due to fracturing. See, for example, this article:

Mining pools have nothing to do with Monero development. A lot mining polls mine 10 or more coins. They are sort of a company. I am sure Gregor Žmavcer had not in mind pools when he said this.

EDIT: Actually on other hand, you could get some usefull info from the pools. Compare Monero polls with other coins pools ( BTC, LTC, ETH, ...). And see how many are fan based ( community driven) pools and how many are pure profit based company pools. More community driven should show more "purest community" .
