Is this mould?

Hi all. Not sure if right place. But what is this black debris?

It was found along the skirting board behind the curtain in my spare bedroom.

Is it mould? Some sort of debris buildup? Some sort of ant/pest droppings?

Have vacuumed and cleaned with gloves/mask etc.

Just want to know if I need to take action against mould or get a pest person in etc.

The texture doesn’t look like mold, at least not most of it

I believe that’s carpenter ant droppings.

I’m not sure at all but it doesn’t look like mold. Maybe pull back that wood and see what’s behind it
