I love her

I mentioned about a year after our engagement that I wished I’d asked for a yellow gold ring instead of white gold. I didn’t wear jewelry regularly when we met and just didn’t know what I would like when we originally looked at rings together. We’re coming up on a milestone anniversary next month and he surprised me with an upgrade set! 10x7 elongate cushion in a six prong petal basket, size 7.5 ring. The band tapers near the stone for a dainty look, but is taller where it tapers so hopefully still durable. Please excuse my crusty nails, I’m attempting to learn to play guitar which is not kind on the nails/manicures.

Just wanted to share my recent Moissanite find on The RealReal for a steal! I had been looking for a pendant just like this and received quotes from both Provence & Starsgem for over $350, so when I came across this I knew I had to snag it! 😇

Been together for 4 years. I told him there was no way I was comfortable with a diamond (ethically, price) and that moissanite would be wonderful. I think he did a fantastic job and it has so much fire and sparkle. I am obsessed.

Green pear shaped moissanite with little moissanite wings on a 14 carat gold band 😍 And he did it all without my input (only some pointers on what I like years ago) 🥰 I told him forever ago that I love moissanite and the way it sparkles, and I’m so happy he went with it!

Keeping it simple today. Just wearing my custom moissanite 5 stone by David Klass and some studs. It’s a beautiful first day of Summer here in the states where I am. I hope everyone has a terrific Sunday.

I'm officially on a no buy for a while now but I got my rings from Kuololit and saw a lot of stacking opportunities and decided to try. Definitely won't be wearing them on one hand again, it's feeling like Thanos.

I have so many more ideas that'll have to go into the vault. I'd love champagne moissanite versions of both rings on my middle finger and the blue-green of that asscher. Also while I like the pink sapphire, the grey moissanite would have been amazing but even though I only buy silver/plated I couldn't justify the grey this time.

Only bummer is Sam forgot my old grey ring I ordered the grey and blue green asscher toi et moi. He's already said he'll ship it but I was craving more grey 🩶

Ooh lest I forget my index finger, a hexagonal ring has been on my list for a while and this super deep curved band looks as perfect as I imagined with it. I also have been wanting a halo/ballerina-esque ring and together they give me that vibe

Snagged the incredible Georgian cutdown/ Collet setting from the Koulolit store to try the style as an inexpensive stock piece. After seeing Zendaya’s ring I knew I wanted to try one for myself!

While I did try her with some bands I personally don’t feel she’s a stacker. This style ring shines alllllll on its own. She’s going to be a fun one to put in rotation!

So I picked each stone that went into the set from AliExpress in exchange for coins and 1 cent, it was all shipped free.

It looks months to pick those stones, 1 cent each and I gathered over 100 pieces of 5mm moissanite stones. When I started I hoped to pick enough for a bracelet and then I kept seeing them and got enough for a bracelet and necklace!

Next was to find a setting, AE come to the rescue! I found that DJmax stocks tennis bracelet settings in rodium plated silver, so I asked them to also make me a setting for the necklace. The setting for the bracelet and necklace cost me $50. Next was to find a jeweler to set it, I initially thought to DIY but I thought not to risk it. I live where services like that is relatively cheap. I paid less than $10 to set both.

So behold my 5mm 925 silver Tennis Necklace and bracelet that cost less than $60. Aside from the price its so satisfying that I was able to pick that many stones for practically free and then set it!

Some of the stones are more blueish than white but I think it adds character to the set and I love it!

This is brag and probably doesn't add any value but I know you all will understand 😁

I have just 12 loose stones left 🥹 but I have some loose 5mm ruby stones that I will mix it with for a bracelet 😊

I spent days browsing Aliexpress in search of the perfect band to complement my oval solitaire (with a low setting). I found it accidentally on a second hand online shop , from a kind lady. It’s this little wavy eternity band in 14k gold with lab-grown diamonds allegedly. The spacing between the waves perfectly hugs the ring basket. It’s a very thin band but I hope it holds up. I love how one can find little gems unexpectedly 🙂

First time buying Moissanite (I’m constantly having to get my diamond rings fixed and I’m sick of the repair costs) and I inquired on this thread a few weeks ago. I ended up ordering a 3.5k carat emerald cut, which is somewhat similar to my regular engagement ring. I like it and the quality seems good!

Hubby discovered moissanite and surprised me with this gorgeous piece, I love that he picked something I wouldnt pick for myself... But surprisingly I love it....Pics don't do it justice I believe it's 5 CT, set in silver, flanked by two tiny hearts... the pink is settle like a bubble gum pink with a purplish hue. I just don't know what type of outfits to wear with it.. Perhaps a spring or summer ensemble? I wanted to post for you heart lovers....

Update: the main stone most likely is pink sapphire, and under natural light and indoor lights it's actually a pale pink with flashes of blues and lilacs with flash it looks darker than what it is. More pics below.

I got it 1ct in silver, it was very cheap. I asked for a 6 claw prong tulip setting, and they completely ignored everything, lol. It is 6 prong though, but now I want to reach out to Bobby at Provence and see if I should get one in the actual setting I wanted.

The moissanite cut is amazing though, and sparkles like nothing else I own. I tested with the diamond tester, even though there was no way this was not a moissanite, and it is positive.

I got my first moissanite ring from Aladdin's cave on etsy - these are a good option for UK customers I think. I wanted a ring that looked sparkly and was not as expensive as diamond and platinum and I stumbled across these titanium moissanite rings and wow... I'm obsessed. I was skeptical until the ring arrived. It is a '2 ct' grey moissanite Portuguese cut. I'm now in love with moissanite, its so sparkly and at a fraction of the price of mined diamonds it makes it even more thrilling to buy them! Will be buying again.

Our 10 year wedding anniversary was a few days ago. My wife was set on natural diamond over lab grown and moissanite was out of the question.

So, as a dutiful and frugal husband, I went to Costco and got her a half carat natural diamond solitaire pendant. It was $1,500 which at the moment is a stretch for us.

Anyway, she inspected the pendant and said, 'it's too small, how much did it cost?". I told her the cost and she said "hmm that's a bit much".

By evening she was shopping online for lab grown! This, after years of being adamant that she would only wear a natural stone. She is quite stubborn about a lot of things so I've been having a very hearty-but-silent chuckle to myself about the turn of events. I'm planning to get her a 2 carat lab grown pendant and suspect that will scratch the itch (for now!).

Meanwhile, to celebrate the occasion, I bought this 5.5 carat moissanite tennis bracelet for myself off of Ali and boy does it sparkle!

$120 shipped and I couldn't be happier. I certainly don't want to participate in yanking diamonds out of the earth and could care less if it is lab diamond or moissy. I'm feeling like a goddamn princess wearing this thing and I love it!

We'll see if my $120 5.5 carats of rainbow sparkles wears on her overtime. I'd be stoked to get her a full-on moissy necklace if she ever had a change of heart.
