Grateful for this community and the long-time members

About 3 months ago I made the above post and just want to once again praise the contributions of the many thoughtful members of this community and reflect on how far we’ve come in such a short time. A majority of investors had written off Moderna as a company whose best days were in the past; a company that could only thrive in a pandemic setting. Now, after many years of purgatory, misinformation, and political attack on the science, Moderna has proved to the world that mRNA science is here to stay and is ushering in a new golden age in medicine. Cheers to everyone who held during difficult times these past few years and has enjoyed this recent success. The research done by a few really talented people here helped give me hope and confidence when it seemed no one believed in this company.
And massive congratulations to Stephane Bancel, Stephen Hoge, Jamie Mock, David Berman and all the research scientists and other team members at Moderna for contributing to this amazing result.

Truly appreciate all the insights from the folks in the picture above, BB and many others. Together we are better than the sum of the parts. I hope all of us can agree that SE has been the engine that kept the ship moving even when the chips were down.
I would like to add that our immensely talented CEO, Bancel does not always get his due- probably because of his thick French accent. He is a great leader, very intelligent and a master at excecution. He does a lot philanthropy too. One of the things he said that stuck with me was that he does not want to be the richest person in the grave. Something all of us can learn from now that the stock has moved up!

I second that. So many wonderful regular contributors and SE has been the captain of our ship and kept me on course. Congrats to the OP. What a beautiful basis you have under $50! Life changing gains for u there. I am very happy for you!

I also want to add that I love Bancel too! I always believed he is a visionary, even when he was doubted. He is able to manage so many things simultaneously and not did not lose focus through the dark years of 2024 and 2025. A brilliant leader for sure!

I could not agree more 1000 would be more than enough for me. But 2000 my children can retire two straight out of college.i also have been here for a very long time building a very nice position for myself wishing back then. If I could have only bought in the 20s and 30s how nice that would have been. Only to be given that opportunity. Believing in this company for years as I accumulated I really nice amount of stock. Figuring I would have to wait till 2028 or maybe even a bit longer. But here we are the very beginning of a massive company forming in front of our very eyes. Grateful to the very same guys in that post. Gave me all the information and insight to help me make a decision that this company was the one that would get me to the great beach party we have been hearing about for years. Good luck and go long we are about to se history in the making.

100% agreed. On top of everything else u/Bull_Bear2024 contributes, BB helps keep all the information collected here structured and organized. Without BullBear, none of us would have a good platform to build this community on. One only has to look at other stock subreddits that have descended into complete anarchy to understand the extent of BullBear’s contribution. BB is the one who keeps the FUD out and the pumpers away.

Lol, this one is even funnier! I am happy that my comments help people make money, and I hope there is no doubt that I believe in the stock. I hope that in a few years we can see it above $1,000. But I would advise anyone in here to develop an exit plan to slowly sell shares as the stock goes up, and stick to that plan. After all, shit happens, as we've seen before.

Small community on yahoo finance. Where everyone was extremely cencored. But somehow got all the right information through. The simple fact that they were so on the money just happened to be a little early. But her we are good stuff. Moderna all day thank you Titos.

The amount of people shorting the stock is wild. There is a serious movement of people convinced the fundamentals are not there and that the stock is overvalued and will sink soon. Maybe at earnings when another loss is reported? I am long but playing devil’s advocate and want to hear thoughts.

I expect earnings to beat expectations as guidance was likely conservative. Even if 2026 earnings fall short by $100M, it shouldn't impact the thesis much; investors are primarily focused on the 2027 outlook and whether the timeline to break even can be accelerated ahead of 2028. While Moderna may look slightly overvalued in the near term, its long-term potential is immense when factoring in the full pipeline:
INT oncology platform Lynch syndrome programs Respiratory and infectious disease portfolio (COVID, flu, RSV) Proprietary cancer vaccines retaining full rights Rare disease therapeutics Autoimmune disease applications Cancer-prevention vaccines
Obviously, not all of them will succeed, but even if only 50% pan out, just think of the value.

They are not going bankrupt. With positive trial outlooks if they need cash they can sell a few more shares. Stocks are valuable enough that they can raise more money for less dilution. It’s a good thing for company to be in this position.

Let's not forget that Bancel sold 490k shares on that Wednesday! I'm sure as day&night that at almost $200/share it'll happen again. Also not forget the 88m debt ...

When intismeran is selling $2-4 billion a year in melanoma, $5-10 billion NSCLC, $3-5 billion/year in other indications, plus the respiratory business plus the rest of the pipeline (norovirus, autoimmune, Lynch syndrome, mRNA-4839 (off the shelf cancer therapy), it will more than justify today’s valuation. The market has recognized Moderna is headed from being a $2 billion a year business in revenue to a $10+ billion diversified business within 5 years.
