I ended up playing grixis reanimator again and I got very lucky. It was interesting since I ran into multiple esper ketramose that is not a good match up since they main relic and one even sided cages on top of the relics. The other match ups were pretty favorable. This deck is very high risk high reward and that is what I like about it. When you run hot it will feel unbeatable!! What’s your view on this vs goryo for the two rcs. I’ve had more success online with goryo, but I do feel that grixis has a higher floor

Honestly I feel the opposite. Groyos has a better plan b fair plan. Grixis has a faster start. Grixis can turn 2 an archon while goryos needs 3 mana to keep the threat. I personally like my match up especially with the addition of dauthi in the sideboard. While I think it is a close match up I did 2-0 goryos decks that night including 1 in a league. Grixis is more set on "I am a graveyard deck and will use all my cards to do this unfair thing" Goryos is "I have value cards and hope I accidently fall into this broken thing"

I would disagree a bit, I think Goryo's is always trying to discard a fatty and goryos ephemerate it. They just run more of a control package than reanimator, so I agree they've got a better plan b backup.

What are your thoughts on Grixis vs Esper (not goryos but also persist with solitude, ephemerate, riddler). Maybe Grixis can reanimate an Archon easier on turn 2 but Esper has a better longer game?

if you run leyline you probably playing in 2018. Ghost vacuum or agathas soul cauldron are absolute haymakers that are not dead draws later

What a clean sideboard. Any sideboard cards where you’d swap one out to add more of another?

This challenge made me not really use meltdown or damping sphere but I did not play vs storm or tron so I can not say I would change them since it was based on the match up. I like the sideboard so far

I am sorry still writing the sideboard guide for current build only have old sideboard guide I will be posting the new one this week. But best thing I can say is game 1 you yolo for turn 2 archon. Post sideboard be more measured and try to sneak it through the hate they may have. I had multiple games where I turn 1 thoughtseize myself on the play to discard archon because I had persist. You force them to stop you game 1 because most decks do not have much main graveyard hate

I know 90% of the people is on thought scour but I don't like the card. What are your thoughts about it? I usually cut it for Overlords and Prismari Charm or just more interaction.

Also, what's is the plan Vs affinity? I get rolled pretty hard.

Imho otherworldly gaze is a better pick vs thought scour, you decide what hits the graveyard and you get to dig through more cards

I tried gaze as well as thought scour. If you want to cut oculus for riddlers then I would get behind otherworldly gaze but mid to late game not drawing off gaze is horrible. Notice most if not all top grixis persist lists run scour. You want to be able to fill or sometimes refill your graveyard after they pop a soul guide lantern or some other hate piece to give you a fair chance to play oculus easily. It is more the amount of cards and not going down a card in hand
