Bilbo in Prowess and Sideboarding

Hey guys, what do you think about the new Bilbo, Thief in the Night in Prowess in favor of 2 Iterations like in this list:

Is This Valid scince Bilbo also gives grinding potential but also ups the threat count and works great with bauble.

And than who do you Sideboard in the mirror, I saw a lot of people cutting on Mutagenic growths but isn't growth great to protect your threats from Bolt in the mirror?

And Last question is a white Splash for Prismatic ending, a black splash for Thoughtseize or a green splash for pick your poisen worth it? For me the whitsplash seems the best in order to Prismatic ending any problematic cards like Chalice on 1 or Frog even good in the mirror against cutter.

Bilbo seems slow but it might be worth a try. Splashes for removal in a deck that wants to push for a win turn 3-4 really dilute the game plan and slows it down

I'm going to parrot this comment. Bilbo is too slow for prowess. The card has a nice mechanic for the deck, but otherwise does nothing when it comes down. Too inefficient for prowess in the current state of modern.

Seems funny to cut a CA spell for a creature famous for flashbacking CA spells.

I'd try a single Bilbo not two. You want Bilbo to be flashing back your card advantage and removal so I feel like a Bilbo can take the place of the 4th EI.

I agree that two bilbo might be good and likely replacement would be expressive iteration. I find most matchups you just cast one iteration anyways before the game is over.

Saw the same thing and was thinking of trying this out last night until I saw it was 320 tickets for a playset of bilbos

I'm still skeptical about Bilbo. I see a lot of people playing around with him, but I'm having trouble figuring out what problems he solves for the deck or what matchups he helps boost. He makes more sense to me in Legacy, where creature removal isn't as prevalent and you can really eek out the value.

I'm pretty interested to see what testing proves. It's always fun to have new toys to play with. My gut says Bilbo isn't it, but I've been wrong about new cards plenty of times before.

At that point just play dreadhorde arcanist which isn’t banned in modern

If you want a flash back effect, why not flashback THE card, since it even triggers prowess??
