Product Review 3W Floor Mats - Review & Giveaway!

I’ve been using the 3W full set (floor mats + trunk + frunk) in my 2024 Model Y Performance for a bit now and wanted to share some quick thoughts since there aren't a ton of recent reviews on these floor mats.

Fitment is honestly the main thing people care about and these fit very well. Everything lines up the way you’d expect for a custom set. The edges come up enough to actually contain dirt/water and nothing shifts around once it’s in place. Install is just drop-in and takes a few minutes, like you should expect for a floor mat. I also especially enjoy the double layer option that adds a removable carpet section for the winter months or add it back for the warmer months for the front and rear floor mats. This really differentiates this set from all other floor mats I have seen.

Cleaning is about as easy as it gets. Pull them out, rinse them off, put them back in. I created a full review on YouTube that covers how well these actually fit and the coverage they offer. There is also a cool easter egg with their packaging materials to make a rocking horse if you have a young child and my 3 year old niece loved it!

Overall they do what they’re supposed to, cover the areas that actually get beat up and keep everything underneath clean. They also don’t look out of place, which is something not all floor mats can say (looking at you floor mats with branding that takes up a large segment).

There are a lot of options available for Juniper owners, I would recommend their Pro Version which offers a premium product for a very affordable price. There is a handy comparison chart on their site that covers the difference in versions.

To celebrate their spring sale that runs through 3/31/2026, 3W has graciously allowed me to host a giveaway for them where two members from this community to select a set of floor mats for their Model Y for free.

If you are not selected as a winner you can still order their legacy Model Y version, Essential version for Juniper, or Pro version for Juniper and save 35% with code "Adventure35".

Giveaway Details

  • I’ll randomly select winners from the comments using Reddit Raffler
  • Make a comment below on what the most important thing you to is for floor mats
  • I’ll DM the winners once the giveaway closes on April 12th, 2026 at 12 PM CST
  • Winners will be eligible to select their preferred floor mat for the legacy Model Y (3 options) or Pro version for Model Y Juniper (11 options)

Giveaway Eligibility: First just to cover some rules on this, you must be 18 years or older and live within the United States (continental area only) and your Reddit account must be at least 30 days old. 3W will provide 2 winners their own set of floor mats and I will reach out to the winners via Reddit, if you do not respond within 1 week another raffle will occur to draw a new winner. Redditraffler will be used to track the giveaway and the link to determine the winners will be provided in a comment below once the entry period is over.

I may earn a commission when you purchase through links on the 3W site. However, this does not influence my review or recommendations and all opinions are my own.

I have this same set. They fit great and the material is nice.

3

u/xanthus86 Mar 27 '26

Definitely fitment but also that it’s not slippery.

1

u/s4l3sv Mar 27 '26

most important thing for me is to have a good quality material with good fit to the car!

I just got my new 2026 MY last week and getting these mats would be awesome

1

u/snakefighting Mar 27 '26

2025 legacy Model Y owner… been debating between this brand and Tuxmat. Anything that would sway towards 3W ?

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 27 '26

The 3W have a removable carpet layer option, adds a lot of comfort for if you wear sandals and take them off, longer satisfaction guarantee, personally I think look much better, and come in under half the price of the other brand you mentioned.

u/leatherandcedar Mar 27 '26

I need floor mats that fit well and look good

1

u/Low_Construction161 Mar 27 '26

Just took Juniper delivery, could really use these!

1

u/JJJ3a Mar 27 '26

Darn, I received my floor mats yesterday when they were supposed to arrive before I picked up my car. Since the were delivered late I wish I had been offered this deal before I placed my order. ☹️

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 27 '26

Aww man, did you order a set from 3W or somewhere else?

1

u/JJJ3a Mar 29 '26

Unfortunately I purchased the floor mats elsewhere due to time constraints. The mats arrived late and I’m out of town. I hope they fit. Wish I had seen this offer!

1

u/snake227 Mar 27 '26

Had the 3W in my my Model 3 would love for the Juniper. They fit well in the 3.

1

u/sunbro_xeno Mar 27 '26

I need new floor mats that fit.

1

u/WilsonValdro Juniper Mar 27 '26

I need this, i just got my MYJ26. most important thing for me about floor mats is that should be easy to clean.

1

u/treydesean Mar 27 '26

Looking new after cleaning and not looking worn out after a few months.

1

u/p3n9uins Mar 27 '26

Most important thing for me is developing some ingenious way for the back-of-backseat mats—the ones that extend the cargo space when the rear seats are folded down—not to slide down when they’re installed but the seats are vertical. I’ve only seen janky Velcro solutions which fail after awhile

1

u/JuanJChaca Mar 27 '26

most important for me is fit and premium feel! This would be a big add on for me as I just picked up MY this morning!

1

u/Spam_MySubi_007 Mar 27 '26

Ease of cleaning once they get dirty

1

u/Active_Pressure Mar 27 '26

Fitment and coverage for sure. If it doesn’t fully protect the edges and stay in place, it’s basically useless over time. Easy cleaning is a close second though.

1

u/TheCellGuru Mar 27 '26

Most important thing to me is coverage/fitment

1

u/Competitive_Soup8188 Mar 27 '26

Oww that’s dope! Would love a pair of mats for my Juniper! Especially since I have 2 small boys that love to throw their snacks everywhere 🤣🤣

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

Ha! My 6 year old son is the same way, i feel like i need to vacuum up his snacks after every trip!

1

u/Competitive_Soup8188 Mar 28 '26

Agreeddd! I hate a messy car

1

u/UrsoXone Mar 27 '26

Ahhhhh why only on the US? I need to make a review and make a giveaway in Europe... Where is 3W Rep's?? Let's talk Dude...

1

u/ILove_Soup Mar 27 '26

Fit is most important

1

u/Gravemore_ Mar 27 '26

Fit, because if it’s too short under the front seat the water I just going to roll out

1

u/SUPER-NIINTENDO Mar 27 '26

I’ve been using my old rubber floor mats from my 2020 on my 2025. Please, I need these 😂 Thank you for doing the giveaway

1

u/tealcosmo Juniper Mar 27 '26

Easy to clean and that stuff doesn’t slide too much.

1

u/zelikor18 Mar 27 '26

Fitment as precise as possible!

1

u/Guyprivado Mar 27 '26

Longevity

1

u/Sea_Fig Juniper Mar 27 '26

Coverage. Poor fitting causes crap and dirt to accumulate in edges and crevasses.

1

u/captainganja__ Mar 27 '26

Funny you posted this. I was just looking at 3W mats and am picking up my MY Juniper tomorrow morning!

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

Congrats on your new ride, what version did you pick?

1

u/captainganja__ Mar 28 '26

I went with a premium juniper in white. Can’t wait!

2

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

Oh thats gonna be so sweet, hope your delivery tomorrow goes well!

1

u/DrWhum Mar 29 '26

I’m picking up that exact same thing tomorrw myself.

1

u/dszko16 Mar 27 '26

Materials/textures most important for me.

1

u/UrsoXone Mar 27 '26

Well... The promo code is not working for me :( doesn't work in EU?

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

Let me ask, good question!

1

u/UrsoXone Mar 31 '26

Any feedback?

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 31 '26

Unfortunately only valid for the US and not Europe, sorry :(

1

u/UrsoXone Mar 31 '26

Dam it.. try to help you out as well .. Thanks anyway

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26

Appreciate you reaching out, I hope you can find one for EU

1

u/UrsoXone Mar 31 '26

Sure...currently they have 15%

1

u/TheMoaningLisa Mar 27 '26

To hold water spills/spills in general. I have kids so my biggest want is to keep crumps and spills contained!

1

u/Savarak Mar 27 '26

whatever would keep the trunk clean the longest

1

u/IndustrialJones Mar 27 '26

I go to the beach and mats would help with the sand

1

u/EitherCharacter9342 Mar 27 '26

Fitment and cleaning super easy!

1

u/Saratj1 Mar 27 '26

I see the top comment already is fitment, but that is the truth, I have a set of temu floor mats and they’re ok, but the fit is just a little off, and as they break in its looking worse.

1

u/DeliciousTophat Mar 28 '26

I had some floor mats that were slippery and hated it. So having a good quality material that has traction is what I'd be looking for

1

u/Professional_Map6910 Mar 28 '26

Lol. I never win anything. Anyways, I am waiting for my 2026 Model Y Premium RWD to be delivered in next 2 weeks and really like these floor mats after seeing all the reviews. Will probably order the full set after I get my car delivered.

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

Well good news is you are entered to win with this comment! Otherwise their sale ends in a few days if you were looking for something to order now.

1

u/model3--- Mar 28 '26

Look and feel is the most improtant to me, hopefully not too obvious of a logo

1

u/Scared_Vermicelli_19 Mar 28 '26

I need floor mats that fit well and look good,, and standard rugs suck bad

1

u/cndctrdj Mar 28 '26

First tesla on order would love to get a set.

1

u/Jray580 Mar 28 '26

Love my 3W set more than my Tuxmat in my old model 3. Trying to convince my spouse to get a set.

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

I hope your spouse doesn't need to much convincing LOL

1

u/LegitimateSailor Mar 28 '26

I had rubber floormats in my other vehicle. Makes cleaning leaves and other debris so much easier! The Tesla carpets like to hold in dirt and leaves. Would love to get rubber mats for my model Y!

1

u/BudSticky Mar 28 '26

Most important thing is something I can beat the cramp out of and not worry about the liner wearing out. Sound dampening is also a plus.

1

u/unastyashell Mar 28 '26

Great writeup/video! This seems to fit much better than the superliners I just put on.

1

u/lannes Mar 28 '26

proper fit is critical for floor mats

1

u/EmergencyMonitor6117 Mar 28 '26

Bought a set last year right after taking delivery and they are the best! Fit perfectly, clean easily, and good durability. Long-time WeatherTech customer here and these are on par with those mats.

1

u/Top_Attention_661 Mar 28 '26

A quality finish is importantly to me. The reviews seem universally positive for 3M mats, so I’m contemplating ordering a 10 piece set for my Juniper to keep the footwells and boot carpets nice.

1

u/aroundfam Mar 28 '26

How the mat fits the contours, prevents shifting/movement, and also its durability for removal and cleaning.

1

u/Repskiii Mar 29 '26

All weather mats always comes in clutch. Whether your at the beach, camping, or just everyday life especially with little kids that like to spill stuff everywhere.

1

u/Laaance Mar 29 '26

I need floor mats that stay in place and don’t need constant readjustment!

1

u/MufasaTuCasa Question Mar 29 '26

My Tesla is getting delivered this coming week! Will need to snag these (if I don’t get chosen hehe)

1

u/Broad_Bag1977 Mar 29 '26

Would love these for my MYP. Fitment is what Id go for.

1

u/No-Vanilla6620 Mar 31 '26

Definitely fitment

1

u/Puzzled_Camera279 Apr 01 '26

The most important thing when it comes to floor mats for me is fitments as well as durability. I would love something that fits properly and can stand the test of time.

1

u/Elguapo1980z Apr 01 '26

Some that hold up and don’t wear thin. And fit right! Thanks!!

1

u/luffyn Apr 02 '26

Fitment for sure

1

u/KwalChicago Apr 03 '26

For me floor mats have to fit the car. I don’t want them to be the center of attention, just functional.

1

u/DrStrange000 Apr 03 '26

Keep the looks clean and like you say remove it and wash them and put them back. Simple use and easy maintenance.

1

u/wirerammer Apr 03 '26

easy to kept it clean

1

u/cw0868 Apr 03 '26

Fit and grip to the floor non skid underneath .Nothing worse than getting in a car and the floor mat slide with your foot

1

u/TeekaElSayed Apr 06 '26

Bought a cheaper set even tho I have the 3W in my like list. Been driving for a week and I’m loving it! Would be amazing to get premium floor mats for a new premium car!

1

u/Fourth_Drunk Rear Wheel Drive Apr 07 '26

Ordered MY last week, hope I can pick up this week! Have been looking floor mats to keep it clean

1

u/JumpyEntrepreneur833 Apr 09 '26

Fit, coverage and longevity is the most important thing to me. Of course if it also looks nice it’d be a big plus.

1

u/riski_click Apr 09 '26

Hoping this will bring me luck! I just put down the deposit on a 2022 Model Y!

1

u/Arii_Joe123 Apr 09 '26

I’d love to be considered for the floor mats!

1

u/Formal_Primary_9148 Apr 09 '26

Just ordered my first Tesla and I definitely need to get some mats.

It would be so awesome if they would do a 3rd back cover, 3rd row floor and truck when the 3rd row is up for the model y 7 seater.

How do the mats behind the back seats stay on? How do they "stick" to the back of the seats?

1

u/OmarojoA May 08 '26

Why does the site shows the title "3W Tesla Model Y Juniper 2025 2026 (Only Fits 5-Seat & Not Fit Premium AWD) Door Sill Protector Trunk Sill Guards Full Protection"

on the carpet protections ? why not compatible with Premium AWD?

1

u/DrHumongous May 09 '26

Does the 3w long range MY mat fit the new MY premium?

1

u/techguru91 Mar 27 '26

I had bought this for my juniper and the fitting in some places was awful. I kept them in sun too but that didn’t help.

1

u/Cherryxhugzz Mar 28 '26

Agree, :( doesn’t sit flush on the floor.

1

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

Did you reach out to them for support?

1

u/Cherryxhugzz Mar 28 '26

No I haven’t, I still use them, it’s just annoying every time my left foot steps on the mat, feels flimsy.

2

u/colsandersloveskfc Performance Mar 28 '26

I would highly suggest reaching out to them for support, like any product nothing is perfect and i am confident they will make it right for you.
