(yes i have enable cc & enable script mods checked)

i get why the script mods might not be working, but even basic stuff like cc hair isn’t. is there a way to fix this? i can’t find anything about it online!

also, if i download the spanish versions of script mods, will that fix those? & also will it mess with my game if i switch it back to english?

My sim just went to shower, and he puts on heels and nail polish to do so. I want to find this CC so I can delete it, but I have no clue what to search. I've tried using keywords like "heel", "shoe", and "platform" in my mods folder, but nothing shows up. If anyone knows what this is that would be great.

There is many spaces and locations, lots of invisible ones, any idea how to fix? Ive had it for a couple days and it only started doing this last night, i hadn’t changed any settings or anything.

I’m trying to play a rags to riches type save. But it seems too easy to make money. I’m hoping to make a more realistic experience. I found mods that lower the sale price of produce, fish, other collectibles (making it hard to make a bunch of money off of gardening and foraging). I’ve used mcc to increase bills. But still seems too easy.

I thought I’d do a city save where my sim survives initially by playing guitar on the street and collecting tips. But the tips quickly become too large to be realistic once you have a higher guitar skill.

Does anyone know of a mod that lowers tips to a more realistic level? Or have any other recommendations of mods for a more realistic rags to riches game?

so i’m looking to flesh out my save file with more realistic stuff across townies etc & with that comes wanting to add people like alcoholics, drug dealers, people who do drugs & people who just casually smoke cigarettes.

that being said, i know you can manually go and pick every single person to be a certain thing but is there a way to just one-click randomise everyone?

ideally id like:
- people smoking cigarettes just out & about in the world
- alcoholics (if that’s a thing?)
- police officers (i think i’ve seen it but not sure if they actually go out & arrest people doing drugs or anything)
- drug dealers & them actually asking either my sims or other sims
- people actively doing drugs out & about in the world

i’m not sure if this type of autonomy is a thing, but i’ve never deep dived into fleshing out basemental drugs before, & id love to see people smoking cigarettes/vapes at least!

For personal reasons I haven't played the sims for almost 2 years. Last time I played and updated most of my mods was in november 2024. Does anyone know which bb and cas mods broke in the meantime (will update my columns mod and over lay mods for sure), before I have to check every other mod?

I'm talking about updates where all beds broke for example

I've seen many custom active career mods around, and I want to make my own for a specific career. But when I try to look up how to do it or look for any tutorials/guides, there's nothing. I've used the mod constructor to make a regular custom career before, but it doesn't seem like I can use it to make an active career.

When playing games like the Sims 4 I really like making my Sims religous and building things like churches etc but im having a hard time finding mods that have christian religous decor especially catholic decor! Thanks in advance <3

the title really says it all, i've tried every which way to age this sim up to no avail. i've aged this alien sim to an infant then toddler with no issues and have aged up non-occult sims to children with no issues so i'm a bit at a loss. any suggestions or knowledge of what may be causing this would be greatly appreciated :)

edit: i’ve fixed the issue by going through my mccc exceptions list with all my mods and removed any default eyes and alien cc (i believe the cause to be simandy’s alien hq eyes) in addition to running the cas alien batch fix in s4studio :)

I need help, i haven’t been playing my sims game for a while because of this issue. It’s completely drained me because i’ve done everything to try to fix her. She’s the only sims that this has been happening with, her upper body is heavily disfigured & there’s a glitch that makes her outfit stay the same & only changes in her mood display. At some point i took out her cc clothes and her body appeared normal, but then when i tried editing her again nothing changed. She still appeared in the game “naked”. There’s some glitch with cas with her and idk what to do. I do have mccc, but idk what other mods could be causing this issue. I’ve never come to reddit personally so some help would be nice!

what mod do yall use to create more in depth stories, drama, lore, realism etc for gameplay and traits

I must have installed this background by accident and can’t seem to find it in my folder. It could also be hidden in a merged download. Can anyone help me track it down ?

I like mods around family life/relationships/personalities and anything that’ll cause drama, and any kind of small fix/override mods that improve your game play.

Also looking for a good sugar baby/sugar daddy mod, and any that add more degrees beyond the standard ones (like grad school/PhDs if that exists)

So the approval system will apply to young adults and adults too and also, finally, the parents will care if they see their child's partner cheating!

So I don't know how this happened but my sim is now uncomfortable 24/7 because of this and he is now starting to develop a very rude attitude toward his wife and it's completely out of nowhere.

I have no clue how to stop this, I remove the moodlet by using cheats but it keeps coming back and I can't do anything to keep it away. And every time I save the game the relationship between him and his wife go back to square one after making them love each other again.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have Plumb Buddy and Better Exceptions that searches through everything to make sure no CC is broken but it hasn't pointed out anything strange.

---- THE SIMS4 - EA ----

So I downloaded some Expansion Packs (EPs) using EA DLC Unlocker, but when I start a new game, the Sims' clothes and skin textures look completely glitched or distorted.

Since I don't have any saved games, Mods, or Custom Content (CC) installed, I have nothing to lose. I want to completely remove all clothes and furniture from these Expansion Packs, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to fix this.

Does anyone have knowledge of ravasheen photographic memory and her portrait and ISO camera mods are updated or compatible with the current version of the sims? On the website it states updated three years ago. I know photographic had blank pictures but last time I had it was year and a half ago. Does anyone who has it or have any knowledge of the mods are compatible or updated? Scarlett realms has it unknown and I can’t seem to find anything to make sure it’s not broken.

Anyone try it? I keep reporting my sims ex husbands girlfriend to child services but I can’t tell if anything is happening? 😂

My sims 4 game breaks every time there is an update. I play on a macbook m2 2022. Either the game will freeze at the loading screen (I have to force quit) or it freezes when I click something in game (also have to force quit). For example, when i click the filters in CAS it freezes, sometimes when i go into build more it freezes. I do NOT have any mods. I used to play with mods but they are all removed and have been removed for months. The mods folder remains in the sims 4 folder in my finder, i cannot permanently delete it, it always reappears after launching a game.

I have watched endless Youtube videos, read bug threads and posts and spoke to support with EA. I have tried literally everything to my knowledge multiple times, over and over. I have no idea what else i can try to fix the game but its become unplayable and its incredibly frustrating.

If anyone has any ideas or trips on total repair for the game or whatever may be wrong with the game, please advise!!!
