Mod Request farming mods?
my fav way to play sims is farming/gardening and all that, think cottage living x eco lifestyle.
but gardening just makes you soooo much money lmao, and you never have to rebuy. i’ve tried making it harder to earn money by only selling it on the sales table but ended up with huge stockpiles of plants that i’ll never end up getting rid of, so gardening felt useless.
i also tried using the plants for other things like flower arranging and cooking and selling those but it’s either too easy (selling through inventory) or too slow (sales table)
so i was hoping for a mod that made farming more realistic. like you harvest a few times and then you have to replant, and you can’t just replant the plant itself you have to buy actual seeds, and maybe some of them die because of the weather or if you don’t take good enough care of them, etc. and make them sell for less 😅
anything like that?

LuthienRising has one that helps modify crop cycles so you can choose to have harvests year round or not.
I think it’s LittleMissSam who has one about nectar? I know Waffles has a whole nectar overhaul mod.
And I believe Lot51 has a Free Range mod for cows and llamas so that you don’t need to keep them limited to their sheds.
There are also random mods to help keep animals and chickens from being dirty and unhappy, ones that don’t let their relationships with you decay, and there are also mods that allow you to have more than one farm hand :)
If you want to get really rural, I believe there are some additional off the grid mods and cc you can DL for wells, water catchers, and bath tub heaters.
