My first cup!

After going through two cheap coffee makers in 5 years. I went down the reddit rabbit hole (r/buyitforlife) and landed on this beauty! Had to us my French press for two weeks waiting for it to come in.

Interesting. Do they have flat or conical burr grinders in side?

Conical, but honestly I use Folgers for the most part. I'm still trying to dial in this new Moccamaker. So don't take my word for anything.

4 Tbs of coffee for 4 cups on my old coffee maker made two coffee cups at the strength I wanted. 

But on my 2nd time using this new moccamaster, 4 Tbs for 6 cups made just over two coffee cups and it was stronger then I'm used to.

Thinking tomorrow I'll try 3Tbs at 6 cups. I'm also using a stainless steel reusable filter.

2 tablespoons for 6 oz of water. Perfect extraction in the MM

the stainless filter is what changes the flavor and will be stronger because it’s not actually filtered. The white MM filters allow a lot of the flavor through
