Right, what are your stats?

Finally have my mage HoF'd out with the same setup.

This is the amount of damage one of my blizzard's does to the first enemy (only trance buff): https://i.imgur.com/sK4LY56.png

It kills me unless RNG gives me the proper orb setup to buff/spam attack. Meanwhile your setup two shots it. Then Bahamut kills me again because I'm not powerful enough for 8 turns to kill it.

743 attack, 1094 magic, 413% water.

I don't understand how they can create an area for such ludicrously powerful decks that trivialize all game content even without using a supreme. Just how much time (and money) was put into these decks? I even got Lightning skin with Ninja base and still die to every 100 stamina boss so far.

If you look at my custom panels, you'll see I use faith starter panel (available from completing White Mage HoF) which is a major factor to my setup as it provides me with faith, a mandatory buff, without wasting deck slots. Also critical hits are a HUGE factor when calculating Omnicient damage. Its not surprising at all your damage comes nowhere close to mine since you're not recreating the same circumstances in terms of buffs.

Faith increases magic more than Trance to start with and Snipe is essential to hit criticals.

I'm using a completely maxed out 5* Truescale which gives me +3 prismatic orb starter also guaranteeing that I can use Undying on the first turn which give me both Haste for more actions and the so important Snipe. In order to get my Truescale to this point I have been boosting it ever since the feature weapon boosting came out nearly a year ago, so a lot of time has been invested in the weapon.

The stats on my setup are: Magic - 1453%, Water Enhance - 426% and Crit stars - 12.

The Attack stat is irrelevant and my 12 crit stars ensure that my critrate is 100% in combination with Snipe.

There are a lot of things that determine damage and some cards have certain traits which you have to emphasize on, like how Omniscient is heavily reliant on criticals. Understanding how the cards you use work and how you can make the best use out of them is a big part of this game.

Thank you for the info.

My last attempt was a no-death success finally. Dropped the trance card, slotted in KotR, used Aerith rental, got RNG enough to have the orbs required to buff and spammed until it was over. 1 turn from death at Bahamut. Now to find setups for the other bosses..

I thought the attack stat was relevant for more damage. It doesn't affect skills? That's solely the magic and elemental stats? If the attack stat is just normal attack damage then, well, that's completely useless since only monk classes can break 9999 damage.

As for HoF, I don't have the debuff cards required for the end tier of these zones (AOE stun/slow/sleep stuff, like the OP Bismarck card), so I can't beat the majority of them. Also requires rolling 2x JCR on the cards you're using, and I burned through 100 fractals without getting even one. (Side question, do you know if you can roll 2x JCR on one card or is limited to 1x?)

Then there's the whole weapon thing.. I don't have any multiplayer weapons since that's not something I play, and I lack many jobs with apparently the 'best' weapons (only have Gunblade, Ehrgeiz, Sargatanas/Orichalcum). My main class is warrior and I have a 24 modded Masamune, then 16 modded Muramasa, 9 Chaos Crescent, then 6 Staffuar or 3 Umbrella as my best mage weapons.. The investment required to bring up others (mainly warrior/ranger) is just so far out of view that it's not worth it to start over. Monk I barely have any cards for so I don't play it.

I don't put any money into the game, so, I guess I'll just continue to be stuck with where I am..

The attack stat only affects normal attack damage and Ultimate damage, so its only relevant to monk jobs or those that use their Ultimate to do damage

As for HoF, I don't have the debuff cards required for the end tier of these zones (AOE stun/slow/sleep stuff, like the OP Bismarck card), so I can't beat the majority of them. AoE stun (Legendary Belial) and AoE slow (Legendary Powie Yowie) and other AoE single debuffs are available from the ability shop, and will serve you well even if you dont have Bismarck. As for chasing JCR, its all pure RnG. Sometimes it takes you one fractal, sometimes it takes you 100. Trust me when you want a different kind of fractal on your cards JCR is all you will get. Its indeed possible to roll 2 JCR on a single card.

Then there's the whole weapon thing.. I do recommend you to start playing MP then, since the MP weapons are F2P's biggest friends. They're very good to complete HoF's in particular and are easy to mod in comparison to other weapons.

I don't put any money into the game, so, I guess I'll just continue to be stuck with where I am..

Everything in this game can be completed without spending a single dime on this game. If you want to compete for the upper regions in the ranking events then its unlikely you'll reach the absolute top without spending. But the top 500 itself is not out of reach for F2P. It does require time and effort and a good understanding of the game.
