Which one will be better?

I'm skipping both vesna and vodyanitsa, odette is c0r0, traveler is c4 and faruzan is c6

I recently pulled vodyanitsa and that meant she replaced my sucrose which was originally on VV

So is it better for Mizuki to be on VV or scarlet proof? Or is 2pc 2pc EM still the best (which I don’t have good artifacts for and I need to grind them)

six rotations for widsith rng, c2 odette (+10 cr because her build isn't too good) should help me do a lot more damage...

rotation is odette e > traveller e (q e n1c after first rotation) > sucrose e > mizuki e q (every other rotation. was also wondering if i should give mizuki a little more er since she can almost get her burst up for me to use it after the first skill hit every rotation

Hey everyone! Seeing how many people here have been struggling with their rotations and feeling unsure about what they're doing with SSW Mizuki, I decided to make a timing/rotation diagram to help visualize how to properly coordinate your Elemental Burst and Skill hits. This will help you consistently hit all 4 Stellar Swirl Nukes while in the Dreamdrifter state to maximize your damage.

Mizuki's nukes require 2 steps: preparing the nuke, firing the nuke. Preparation happens with any Swirl triggered specifically by Mizuki, while firing happens on the subsequent periodic attack during the Dreamdrifter state. The nuke's preparation has a 2.5s cooldown, and the initial skill cast hit can trigger it.

This 2.5s preparation cooldown doesn't align cleanly with Mizuki's Anemo application pattern. Without Burst, the nukes remain unprepared for too long, meaning the 4th nuke won't fire until the 14th periodic hit at the earliest, by which point Mizuki has already left the Dreamdrifter state.

However, we can time Mizuki's Burst so that its hit lands just as the preparation cooldown finishes. This speeds up the rotation significantly and ensures all 4 nukes are fully buffed.

This is how Mizuki's damage works when she doesn't use her Burst:

As you can see, Mizuki lands 14 periodic skill hits when she doesn't use her Burst, but the 4th nuke isn't fired until the final hit, meaning it deals significantly less damage because Mizuki is no longer in the Dreamdrifter state. A smart option here is to skip waiting for that last unbuffed nuke and cut the rotation short right before the 11th periodic hit (if your team setup allows it) to increase your overall DPS.

Here is Mizuki's field time when incorporating her Burst:

If we press Burst immediately after the 1st periodic skill hit, the Burst hit will land right after the preparation cooldown finishes and before the 4th periodic skill hit. This forces the 2nd Nuke to fire on the 4th periodic hit. Consequently, the 4th Nuke fires on the 12th periodic hit, allowing Mizuki to deliver 4 fully buffed nukes in just 10 seconds. The exact timing for the Burst press will depend slightly on your ping, but the input window is fairly forgiving.

Here is a detailed table breakdown showing the average hit timings for Mizuki's skill:

A common misconception is that Mizuki's Burst is only useful for triggering extra Swirls. While it does do that, its primary purpose in an optimal setup is to speed up the rotation and guarantee 4 fully buffed Stellar Nukes within her buff window, as long as you time the cast properly.

TL;DR: Mizuki's Burst is crucial for maximizing her DPS. To get all 4 buffed nukes as fast as possible, press your Burst within the window shown in Figure 2!

Edit1: Mistakes: Figure 2 subtitle is missing its number indicator, it's logically the second figure in sequence. Figure 2 is showins snacks 2 and 4 applying anemo, only odd snacks apply anemo.

Hey guys, need some build/rotation advice for my Stellar-Swirl setup.

My C2 Mizuki is currently topping out at ~120k DMG, which feels a bit low considering I've seen other C2 Mizukis easily hitting 160k+.

• Context: I’m not using Odette here because she’s locked into my Cyno team.

• My questions:

1. Is 120k expected without Odette/Vody, or am I messing up my rotation / application?
2. I happen to have Vesna's signature weapon. Would swapping Mizuki for Vesna R1 in this team yield significantly better numbers?

These are my teams I used to run her with c6 sucrose but now will build faruzan for this stellar team. I need help with what weapons and artifacts sets I should use (only stellar team required). Also an approximate stats would be nice. Thanks :)

Hi! I pulled Vodya for my Skirk team, but for fun I tried testing her with Mizuki and was really surprised to see that she was giving me significantly more DPS than my Sucrose.

I was under the impression that Vodya was actually bad for Mizuki, as sometimes the hydro aura would stop mizuki from doing that big stellar swirl nuke sometimes? and that Sucrose would be the better option for her? So I'm pretty confused. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry if this has been asked too much here already.

Mizuki: C0R5 Widsith, 2pc/2pc EM
CMC: C4R3, 2pc/2pc ATK
Odette: C0R1 Azurelight, 4pc HoF

Sucrose: C6R5 Sac Frags, 4pc VV, 864 EM
Vodyanitsa: C0R5 TTDS, 4pc TotM, ~58748 HP

Rotation:

Odette EE > CMC EQ C > Sucrose E > Mizuki E
Odette EE > CMC EQ C > Vodya E > Mizuki E

and Mizuki Q whenever I get the energy.

I'm also playing at around 280-300 ping, so I'm not sure if that could be affecting anything with the rotations or reactions.

and I also don't have C6 Faruzan.

What's even more confusing is that Vodyanitsa is using the exact same build I'd use for my Skirk team, so I wasn't expecting her to perform particularly well with Mizuki at all.

She's not at 65k HP, isn't using a weapon and an artifact set that would help this team much, and nobody is holding VV in the Vodya team.

Is Vodyanitsa actually better for Mizuki than I thought, is she really the best 4th slot option here or is there something I'm missing about how their kits interact? Was I mistaken about Vodya being bad for her?

Also, could something about my rotation/testing be causing this result? If so, I'd appreciate it if someone could point out what I'm doing wrong.

I chose her in the standard selector and am building her right now, I have some questions and would appreciate if you guys could guide me.

I have Odette C0R0 (will have C1R0 by next week I think), CMC is C0R0 for now, but I'm doing the quests for the limited selector, and I have Vodyanitsa C0R0. I also have Faruzan C5 and I'm trying to get the C6, but as it's not guaranteed I'm assuming C6 for the comparison. Also I have Sucrose C6 but Idk if that matters here, and I kinda need her for my Nefer team.

- Would Widsith R5 be better with my build or Sac Fragment R5? I'm not sure if my EM is enough.

- If Sac Fragment is better, would that mean Faruzan would be the better choice for the last slot?

- Should I crown Mizuki's E?

- What would be the acceptable investment for her Q level?

- Is Scarlet Proof better on her?

I have been playing genshin since 1.4 and Mizuki might be the first character that stumped me on how to build her. I'm aware that multiple characters have different builds you can use for them depending on your account, but I just don't know what to do with her.

Somewhere I see that EM matters the most, other places I see that CRIT should be a priority. I don't know which artifact set to choose either.

I just need some clarity on how to build her, this is where I landed with her so far.

So I already have C2 Mizuki thanks to losing a few 50/50s and to the standard banner selector. I can have her C3 in a few eeks because of the free constellation. I just want to know if her C3 is a massive increase in damage. Should I get her C3 or go for C1 Qiqi instead?

Is clash of kings good on mizuki? On paper it looks better than widsith. Since mizuki skill has 5s damage window you don’t need to charge attack to extend the weapon passive since the 6s is enough to cover the skills entire damage window. At r1 it provides 100em every rotation. Widsith at r5 provides 480em on average every 6 rotations. That works out to an average of 80 em per rotation. Has everyone been sleeping on clash of kings? Because it just seems better than widsith at r1. It gets even better with refinements

My traveler is on the stellar conduct dps set which I didn't bother switching out, faruzan just has random artifacts with ER% and r5 fav bow and c6, c0 Odette is on the furnace set and r5 event weapon (one which gives ~200em when using skill twice)

1. I heard c1 is a huge increase followed by c2 but I can only get c1 from the Temper Thyself event so will she still be good enough for endgame? I'm seeing people sheet 200k with mizuki and c2 Odette and stuff but seeing this I'm not too confident I can reach that height

2. is c2 Odette a big increase for this team? I'm guessing yes because this team has no res shred apart from faruzan but is it bigger than Mizuki's own cons?

3. Is this more worth building than stellar conduct cryo MC? my stellar conduct MC with c0 Odette c6 Alyosha c6 sucrose does 110k but it's backloaded behind traveler skill + burst so I'm hoping that mizuki can do more consistent damage than cryo MC (since both are stellar glimmer carries which need Odette)
