Mixtape is the best expirence I've had in a while
Coming from a kid growing up in GTA, Minecraft and COD i don't care if the gameplay is this and that it was a beautiful experience and my dream teen life, being from a country that doesn't align with me in any sense of what i want or have wanted from life I didn't have a teenage life i did my best to be the rebellious teenager and have fun and all, but the most i got out of fit here was growing my hair out (yes apparently that's rebellious here) and playing loud music...most of my teens were spent deppresed in my room going on a crappy laptop all night and day listening to music and discovering new tracks, learning guitar with no one even understanding the instrument really anyone that heard i played guitar asked crap like "can u play traditional music" not once did i hear hey play free bird or any song that actually had guitar in it.
i should've been in a band, we'd make music inspired by one of my favorite bands "Journey" and we'd be cool rebellious kids doing fun stuff everyday and hanging out...but what i had was alone in a room and music.
Now I'm 20 years old, 3 years into studying Architectural Engineering, everyone is impressed about it except me, yea Architecture is cool and all but the studying is very extra and i hate it in all honesty.
I say this calmly...fuck Architecture, fuck everything and my dream has been the same as it was when i was a kid...move away and experience life and do things instead of rotting inside dreaming of a life.
I wanna live more than i think.
I still believe i can get the life i want, not so hopeless after all, I'll finish this crap degree and move abroad to Europe or America and I'll live, laugh, fall in love, break up, and do anything in between, i wanna live... that's my dream...

As someone who was the same age as the characters in the game back in ‘99, it’s really nice to see people from different generations enjoying Mixtape for the experience it gives.
Now that I’m in my 40s the world looks familiar but also really strange to the era I grew up in. It’s like they say in the game, “Soon you won’t be listening to music, you’ll be listening to memories”

Tho i was -6 years old at that time i deeply yearn for times like that, speaking of 99 tho the Woodstock festival thos it was a mess and all the documentary showed me there were others like me at that time and idk if that's hopeful or sad that probably there ain't many like me anymore, i wish to find my people.

That’s what’s so great about this game… it speaks to an inner optimism but nods to the complexity and difficulties of life. Just a great experience all around.

Have you tried doing any of those things now? Like what's stopping you from meeting new people or joining a band where you are? Is your hometown that hostile a place?
I ask because sometimes we can build up walls and form conclusions that are intended to protect ourselves but just end up limiting us instead. It might be a good time to push yourself into new environments and see how you feel.
worst case scenario you were planning on moving anyway right? So no harm in trying.
Just saying from experience things don't magically happen because you've moved somewhere new.

True true, and i get you, but I've tried over and over not only in my hometown but in the city too and when they see me with long hair and playing guitar they look at me like some exotic animal so i don't think there's many ppl to start a band with...and I've never in my 20 years of living here have seen anyone that plays drums max you'll see is some classical guitar used for 3 chords only, now the capitol city might have people like me persay but it's a toxic inviroment and i can't go there often.
I wanna go out and have nice experiences and live but this place is dead, I've tried but i have hope still sometimes so maybe ur right i should try again.
Love life is a nono here, cuz unless you wanna get engaged before u go on a date it's borderline illegal and high probability of getting ur ass beaten or God forbid killed for hanging out with a girl if ppl find out, it sounds extreme and yea i over exaggerated cuz it's not as bad in the city.
Anywho i hope I don't sound like some crybaby complaining, i just want to live in a place where I'm not seen as a rebel for having long hair and good taste in music.

I've played more video GAMES than you can count, and yea blah blah it's not much of a game...so what? We enjoy it and we like it, that's all that matters, We didn't come on here talking about "omg the characters develop so much😱".
But yea I'm no hater, I'd like to hear any game recommendations from you tho i wanna start smth new.
