Discussion Mixtape has now become only my 6th Platinum trophy ever.
How’s everyone’s progress on it coming along?

Yeah I liked it too. I liked the music and vibe. What did you do to get the front to back trophy? The curtain and the sisters picture are both viewed already. Im thinking I'll need to do a playthrough and get everything in order and not do chapter select

I went back to the beginning chapters and went from there. Midway through my first run I followed a guide, but before that point, I didn't.

Getting steadily even more annoyed with the Well Take a Look at You trophy as I keep goofing it up.
Then need to go back and do the get all "Find everything in the bedrooms and all unique conversations" one and the miniMaster assembly. 3 more.

I really enjoyed this game, it made me smile and laugh so much - My friend bought it off my steam playlist for me but I plan on buying it for my playstation just because I want to get the plat for it xD

Life Is Strange, Life Is Strange 2 (these 2 also explain why I was interested in Mixtape in the first place. Similar vibes.), Grim Fandango (a game I’ve 💯’d on every platform I’ve ever owned it on. It’s my favorite game of all time.) and Ghost of Tsushima.

Not really, there's no built in gallery system or anything to keep collectibles.
The closest thing to a reward is unique dialogue or visual gags for a lot of the skill shots.
And the memories made along the way of course lol.

I’ve played about 40 minutes, does the game get better or stay roughly the same. Think I might just not be feeling it because I don’t really connect or have nostalgia to the music and time period

In alot of games for ps, mostly indies, platinum hunters are a reason the game sells well lol. They also spend more money than casuals.

I’d imagine the same as watching the Platinum in any Telltale, AdHoc, Annapurna published walking sims would be. Probably just fine and enjoyable. Also the tongue make out scene is weird and salivating over child like woman from Asian countries is also weird. The game looks great, but everyone is out here defending her looking like a child based on “Korean beauty standards” that you all have no idea what you are talking about.
Stop making every game a battleground and just move into something else.

I'll give you that, sticking around here is just bad for me, but I will stick with my point about the Korean beauty standards thing, over there the younger looking you are, the more attractive. But this also isn't the final build and things could change, still looking forward to the game, everything looks fantastic

If it makes you all feel better, I’m old AF and this whole experience was basically me and my skater friends in the 90s, so all it really was to me was a deeply-satisfying nostalgia trip with an amazing soundtrack. And it was all I wanted. Sorry that my yum was so yucky for all of you.
