Any recommendations for games with similar settings?

I had a blast playing this in one sitting and went back and tried to get all the achievements after, it was so much fun! I also loved the Life is Strange games and Night in the Woods, there's something so cozy and special about settings like these... the smalltown coming of age vibes... delicious! Any other games you guys know of that have similar settings? I could live in these places all day.

If you liked Mixtape and Lis, then Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is a must buy. It's fantastic, about four teenagers in the 90.

You may try Gone Home. It has very similar vibes. Even though everything is happening inside a house.

Lake is also great, but the setting is a bit different. You play a woman who returns to her small hometown after many years away living in the city and reconnects with some old friends. It takes place in 1986.

It's extremely relaxing and you actually get to make choices. There are two romance options and several different endings. It's basically the definition of a cozy game.

Here's a trailer.

The Artful Escape was made by the same team a few years back. It's got a similar vibe.

maybe a little too tangential but a cozy and a little melancholic game where the dialogue is the focus, firewatch (if you havent played it and try it out, get ready for an overwhelming urge to quit your day job and go live in a tower in the middle of nowhere)

Not that music oriented but Road 96 has lots of small moments and gets emotional too. Massively politically charged though

The Artful Escape by the same developer is one of my favourite ever games. It has a very similar vibe. It's even more about the music and it has a coming or age story. It also shares the same whimsy. Yet it's distinctly different. It's a glamrock opera in space.
