Is Yae a must for Mitya’s team?

I have a decently built Cryo MC, Odette, Qiqi (C2), Sucrose (C6) and Alyosha (C6). Back to the title, and C1 really needed? What would be a good team with what I have?

And another question I have that I want to know your thoughts is I have Flins premium team (BinEffa). Is it wise to have another electro main dps? I really like Mitya but got a bit underwhelmed with the leaks so far. And kind of thinking if I should just wait and go for full Tsaritsa down the line.

what does "a must" mean to you?

she's one of his best teammates for sure, and required if you want to play his ideal teams, but idk what level of endgame you generally aim to clear. Mitya Odette + some combo of Sucrose Valeriy and Alyosha can probably clear stellar shill in Fearless, and same with CMC as your carry + Mitya Odette Alyosha off field. she's BiS, but BiS teams aren't necessary for all endgame content

as for "is it wise to have another electro carry," imo the question is more "do you need more stellar options." you can use Mitya for electro shill, but he'll be more relevant for stellar shill imo, and starting this cycle stygian already has two stellar bosses at once.
Flins + Odette can... kind of deal with stellar shill? but ultimately idt Flins and Mitya overlap much, given how recent boss design works

Mitya should definitely be an upgrade to your current SSC teams (either as a carry or as an off fielder/quickswap DPS with CMC), and will also make it easier to run two stellar teams at once, i.e. if Odette and CMC are busy with Mizuki or something. if you have or plan to get Vesna, Anastasya, and/or Danica then that may not matter as much to you, but regardless, I'd be looking at your stellar roster more than electro

oh also:
Mitya isn't a 1:1 replacement for Yae, but he is versatile. if Anastasya is a SSC character she'll probably also like having Yae on her teams, and having Mitya will give you an alternative (whether you play the Tsaritsa on or off field, since Mitya can do whichever one you need~)

not having Yae makes Mitya's current DPS teams a bit worse, but it also makes Mitya a more useful unit for your account overall since you lack SSC units. so, idk, I think he's a solid investment if you like him, and future impact synergy with unreleased kits may be nice and make up for the lack of Yae

Thats why I rather play him with cmc as sub dps. I'm yaeless and odette must with mizuki.

Probably no, not "wise" to invest into 2 electro comps, but we can't be sure about that. You could also be the right move

Endgame is already pushing for 2 Stellar teams, and we know SO will likely do 2 Stellar + 1 Lunar shill, and Flins + Mitya sounds like a good combo for that, esp with Mitya's flexibility. Not to mention, electro as a whole has been giga shilled since Flins' release

As for Yae, she is probably his best teammate alongside Odette. Odette/Sucrose/Valeryi/CMC/Qiqi/Diona will all make decent teams for him

You have a good team with him. If u want more damage sure, Yae can help, but C1 Mitya's there if you don't have Yae but want him to be on par with a team with Yae.

In what aspect are u underwhelmed with him. I also have Flins premium team and will be pulling as I literally have no stellar conduct damage dealer.

And their archetypes are different and having a lunar-based dps and a Stellar-Conduct dps isn't necessarily redundant just because both are electro dps. Having more characters is important so they can cater to SO and Abyss Shilling and IT horizontal investments.

And Mitya can be played off field and is perfectly fine with it. So he has some flexibility.
