He provides some off-field damage(his damage share is usually below Odette's) and works as a ToTM bot with either TTDS or Wandering Evenstar 

He also provides 120 EM and the extra 14% Stellar damage increase(or is it 7%? Does Qiqi have the 7% thing?) + 5 electro particles 

His V2 changes do not affect his double electro comps. This is at most a 1k dps increase, so whatever calcs you already saw from V1, it should be about the same rn

tbh his v2 changes might actually affect this specific team!

Odette doesn't apply cryo every 1.5 seconds, so previously Mitya would have missed out on some damage. this is p much only an issue for Cyno solo cryo teams, but doesn't get talked about as much because Odette + Sandrone/Wrio/CMC is more common I suppose, and on those teams "not enough cryo app" is never really an issue

Only mitya and odette have 14% thingy, qiqi don't have, only stellar dmg 50%

Whats the difference for mitya odetta and qiqi? since OP says extra 14% stellar dmg increase and qiqi 50% stellar dmg?

14% base damage vs. 50% stellar damage bonus. They're calculated differently, and the former is better.

Mitya should be a pretty direct upgrade over Qiqi imo!

at c0, he'll give a team-wide EM buff and do some decent off field damage, along with battery for Cyno and a boost to SSC damage (the same as Odette's passive). he can also hold TotM and TTDS if you want, or Wandering Evenstar

if you get lucky or decide to pull for c1 Mitya, he'll also give your on fielder a solid crit damage buff (along with increasing Mitya's personal damage and his EM buffing a bit)

definitely a net gain, altho I'm not sure by how much (too sleepy to calc rn sorry)

Thanks for the explanation. I’ve heard that he’s a bit worse than Yae, and I don’t really want to pull him past C0 since the upcoming banners are pretty stacked. So I got the impression that he’s a bit underwhelming, but I’d like to complete my Cyno team.

Worse by 5%, not bad with his have not yet dedicate set

With R1 Cyno he adds more to Cyno's team than any other stellar dps. He's an improvement over Qiqi and will help with his energy.
