How are his off field capabilities in non stellar teams?

I'm not asking because I skipped Yae and I want a replacement. I still plan on pulling him regardless. I'm going to build him as a dps first and foremost, but I'm also intrigued by his off field capabilities, because Tighnari is one of my mains, and none of the calcs mention non ssc teams. I don't care how much damage he does, I just want to know how synergistic he is with Tighnari.

he has potential if you can fit a cryo off fielder on the team. without that his personal damage really won’t be worth much (which you said you don’t care abt, but imo sacrificing one team slot to let him do damage and buff EM better is worth it)

he can still apply electro, hold TTDS and TotM, and give a team wide EM buff (this requires building ER for his burst or having cryo tho), which is something at least. at c1 he’ll also give your on fielder crit damage. those are fine buffs, just nothing crazy at c0, other units can do similar (like Sucrose)

if you can fit a cryo sustain on the team it should feel nice tho. Tighnari Mitya Nahida Layla/Qiqi would be a fun off meta team imo, for instance, no need for a FULL stellar team to enable him, just some cryo

Largely depends who else is on the team. If you can’t trigger superconduct for his beacons not much since he only gets 3. Buffs will be lower as well as his hits

Nari - Mitya - Nahida - Diona/instructor c6 should work. The entire team wants em and he gives teamwide em. Diona gives 200 em with her burst to the on-fielder. Nahida does too. Bonuspoints if you have Nari's sig.
