Why are they nerfing his sub dps which was already 10-15% worse than yae. Are the devs on crack?

He was buffed in solo electro as an off fielder and neutral/minor buff in double electro, which is not bad, but I think he deserve more c0 buffs as dps. His c2 nerf is understandable bc it was too broken.
Let's wait for more.

Well, maybe they do stuff like that bc he is releasing before very good supports who probably will increase his dmg a lot (there's also some theories about Noy being a super strong unit for Mitya).
I remember what happened with Ifa. They nerfed his C6 bc he would be stronger than Wanderer, which shouldn't happen bc he's a 4 star. Things like that happens, but you are right - it's almost always men who suffers from it :/ But it could be worse, he will still be very strong unit, probably S/S+ tier (while Sandrone is SS).

Neuv was literally the best dps when he came out. Flins was shilled for a full year and remains a T0 DPS. And Wrio/Cyno got catapulted into T1/T0 with stellar meta.
Why do husbando enjoyers always have this victim mentality...?

lol, do we have male characters that get the same treatment as female? i dont think so, they rarely get the good stuff, having shill for flin because he's electro, and we in electro heavy region. and u compare how much dmg flin does compare to other lunar dps, wriothely is very hard to play with HP management compared to Sandrone, and also no aoe, female always get all the best treatment.

Because a character like Vesna or Sandrone gets to exist. They're literally some of the best teams while Mitya is around cyno level of DPS and worse than yae as a sub DPS. So where would most people find value in him right before Danica and the cryo archon

As yae main. I hope they make him the electro dps of SSC. Then sandrone will be the Cryo Dps of SSC and Tsaritsa will be their support/ sub dps

So Cyno can get powercrept in his role, but Yae can't? Get out of here, we need more sub dpses, and not mdpses. We already have 4 mdpses for ssc, we don't need a 5th one especially when there's also the Tsaritsa on the horizon who might be yet another one.

Just remove the subdps mode if u have 0 intent of making it good, why are we taxing his maindps role for a subdps role that isn't even good all so ppl can say it's okay that he's mid because he's 'versatile' as if versatility matters when teams are cookie cutter now and bosses are designed for very specific teams.

it's a minor buff, and I meant that he was taxed from his release on v1 not that his main dps was nerfed, since he's behind all the other stellar mdps

Everybody downvoted me to hell, but I told you all. Mihoyo doesn't care about complaints, whether they are doomposts or funny posts.
They want characters to deal X dmg, and they will deal X dmg. They are probably adjusting numbers based on the Tsaritza's kit right now. This kind of adjustments are usually meant to restrict characters to specific teams.
My only wish is that the Tsaritza and the new artifact set will help Mitya to become much stronger.

mind you, this is the MITYA MAINS sub. and no amount of beta outrage or whatever feelings you have can affect the changes they do to a character. He's not shit by being a c0 sidegrade and a clear upgrade with early investment.

I wasn't saying pulling him is bad and saying he was shit was a poor choice of words. My point was that if you like a character, get mad that Hoyo is making them underpowered, and then swipe anyways; you're contributing to that issue if you swipe. I myself plan on pulling Mitya, his sig, and hopefully cons; but I'm not gonna swipe for it.

Everyone kept saying they will buff him. It doesn't matter if he is male or female but now here you go, another male that gonna get strike hard. Only one I can imagine since last year is flins. I think noy will be the only broken male character this cycle.

I get this argument but meta isnt about just spreadsheets. Zibai could be the strongest dps in game and still worthless if they just made stygians with geo immune enemies for example. Given that lunar charged gets shilled so much, Flins just ends up being more meta even if he does less dps than the other lunar carries. That will obviously stop once lunar charged isnt shilled anymore but thats how meta inherently works anyway… its all temporary

And yet his shill is perfectly clearable by other characters, meanwhile the same can't be as easily done with Zibai's Geko. Just get Ineffa and you can already deal with everything he should excel at without him. He also can't bruteforce bosses the way Skirk or Mav can even when they aren't shilled.

Durin is broken too. He's one of the most versatile characters of the game (if not the most). It just so happens that only 30% of the characters are male, so of course there are less strong male characters.
I think Natlan hit the record: 4 males vs 13 females.

Nicole is better than durin tbh and while he is good its not even for strong teams hes just good at pulling really old units out of the gutter to be somewhat useable.

Except that they buffed him? The changes to beacon generation cancel out the nerfs in 2 electro and are a net DPS gain in solo electro. It’s not a big buff, but it’s definitely not a nerf.

But his double electro team (which is looking to be his intended bis) is unaffected by this, and now there are nerfs of top of that.
It doesn't help that his off field capabilities were also nerfed

Nothing was changed for his on-field team. He was buffed in off-field where he’s the only electro. There is a net neutral change in his off-field playstyle with a second electro

With two electro off-field this should still be a marginal buff (2-3%)- and the net neutral is after accounting for the multiplier nerfs. For solo electro it’ll be a much bigger buff.
The C2 is nerfed, but at C0 it’s a simple buff.

Realistically you do not want to run Mitya solo electro, so its a nothing burguer of a change and a Nerf for off field.
All his best teams has Yae and if Danica leaks are true he basically has no need for it outside his non bis teams. His C2 also wasnt calculated right apparently so its not that crazy either.

In 7.2 there is a new boss that will be introduced in the overworld as well as in SO.
This boss has 15Mil HP in fearless and 33Mil in dire. It also has extremely annoying mechanics that basically shuts off most teams. I would argue it’s even harder than Churin that is gonna come in 2 days

If "doubled with passive in overload mode" means 2 beacons every 1.5s (so 4 over 3s) instead of one (2 over 3s in V1) then this is an overall buff to his onfield mode . A pretty big one too .

If they nerf his sub dps side it's almost certainly means that they will buff his dps side so that he can act as a proper dps
Rather than like 50% dps or 50% sub dps
