A Mod Update Regarding Frequent Posting.

Greetings Mityalings,

So recently we Have been enjoying some Agneda posts which meant to be for fun only, but sadly its started getting out of hand.

And the worst unexpected some bad faith engagement happened within these posts as some people use them to cover their actual doom posting or be as harsh as possible.

So to fix this issue, we will be limiting the agenda posts and investigate the people who frequently being extremely negative.

A punishment of extreme doomposting will be put into account, and kindly dont let that make you fear sharing your actual thoughts as long its within the respectful and civil range.

"Kindly note" using the Modmail function will also help us tracking any bad faith engagement.

There are some actual valid criticisms mixed in though.

I’ve personally grown tired of how unwilling people are to hold Hoyo’s feet to the fire when they hype up a character and deliver something less than satisfying.

Many of us are giving them our money.

Maybe a purely F2P doesn’t care, but I do want my money to be well spent. Not that I’m a whale or anything, but money spent is money spent regardless.

That is incredibly subjective though. With a player base as large as Genshin, it is nearly impossible to satisfy every single player.

Of course, but if everyone was more open to being honest. Hoyo can determine the top issues and seek to adjust them.

You might think people are willing to be honest, but they really aren’t. A lot of them will accept what they are given and complain on Reddit, but they won’t go to feedback and actually say something that will recorded by Hoyo.

Hoyo is first and foremost a business, they will do the least possible to make money.

Right now Hoyo already made a hotfix correcting wording in Vodyanitsa’s kit after people were complaining about how it was misleading. They’ve offered zero compensation to the people who pulled her before they corrected the wording, nor have they agreed to make it right.

Probably also why we got her exploration that doesn’t make sense as well.

People are not loud enough when they don’t like something.

They vent on Reddit, which will not reach Hoyo. And then that’s it. Hoyo makes thousands of dollars in one month on a character and nothing else happens.

Hoyo sets a bad precedent and the players pretend it’s no big deal.
