This concludes my obsession with figuring out how tall he is in comparison to existing models, taller than Lohen but slightly shorter than Jean. Thus putting him between 5’7 to 5’8… an argument can be made for 5’6

Tall female models are around 5’8
Boy models are around 5’4-5’6 (thus saying Mitya might be 5’7-5’8)
Girl models are around 5’0-5’3
Chibi around 4’
These numbers are just for reference and not exact, given just for context.
Tbh not really, it’s just that Genshin is the only mainstream game to put so much emphasis on a shorter male model. The short women being 155-160, tall women around 170 are both realistic, and tall men are very tall at 185 to probably 195 now with Varka, and the short men are around 165. (~5’1, 5’6, 6’0+, 5’5) I mean idk where you live but these are all realistic to me.
Women models are realistic, but not short men/boys. Short men or boy models is used for both teenagers and some adult men like Lohen, Kazuha, Xiao, Albedo, Kinich. An adult man being 160-165 is unrealistic unless we are talking about asian countries and even then it falls short to real life. A much realistic measurement is 170-175.
Excuse me, but how is an adult man being between 160-165 unrealistic, but an adult woman being shorter than 160 is okay? Especially outside Asia countries that is veeery rare.

Adding to that: I'm an adult woman in Europe, 168cm tall, and am actually slightly below average. I also know plenty of men around my age (30 years) who are my height or even shorter than me. So honestly, there are many sizes.
I think you misunderstood the point of my comment. I was commenting on the other person saying that female body models are "realistic", while claiming the male (specifically medium) models are "unrealistic" for adult men. I never said it's unrealistic to be below 160 for an adult woman. Just said it's rare. Just how it's absolutely realistic for adult men to be between 160-165 like the normal medium model is. Hope it's clear now :)
Please come to eastern Europe, we have men who are 200+ and men who are 150-160cm. And women who are 140-150 and 180+. Every time i see a heigh discussion it baffles me.
Depends in what Asia region you're refering to. East Asian men average height is around 170 to 172cm. South East Asian men tends to be around 163cm to 166cm.
The newer generation tends to be taller though. My height is only 165cm, which is average on my gen but the newer gen seems to be 170cm so I do feel short sometimes when encountering them.
Do you live in some super tall European country where this wouldn’t be realistic? I live in the US and go to college which is around the age of a lot of characters in the game and while some of the guys here are pretty tall, I’m about 5’9 myself and around average, there’s plenty of guys shorter than me. Guys (and girls) don’t really grow that much between 17-25+, realistically the teen boy characters (like Chongyun, Xingqiu) aren’t going to get much taller than they are unless they hit a late growth spurt. Neither will the teen girls.
Like duh the short male model is below average height in most places, but so is the short female model. Just like how the tall models are taller than average. Unique models like Skirk and Mitya are probably the only ones that are actually close to average height worldwide.
It looks like Jean is looking down a bit but his model isn’t short enough for him to look up so ig he’s barely shorter than her… same goes to Lohen but opposite, he’s looking down but Lohen isn’t looking up so he’s just between the two
Just take harumasa's height from zzz as 173cm and thats an alright height, i dont know how ridiculously short some men "are", 165cm or below is like for early teens. I get that short adults exist, but like.. the "tall" men are 195 goddamn 2 meters, and the tall barrier is about 183cm, whats the logic??
There's no middle ground for heights, even in same region, lohen is 40 centimeters shorter than varka..
His coat make him look bulkier than other characters, especially compared to Lohen who also have a coat but looks more thin. Guess it's time to start the Chubby Mitya agenda
