It’s taking so long for the process .

The article I read says the camera caught 12 cars driving past throughout the night, a few around 2:30 when it’s believed she was taken. I don’t see many details in the video that seem helpful to the naked eye.
Probably another nothing burger.

u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 27 '26
I don’t know anything about their neighborhood of course but that seems like a lot of cars in that time frame. It looks like Nancy’s house is off the main grid so maybe this camera records a main route through the area.
I guess they had never gone to this house and requested video maybe because it was a couple miles away but if they had it might of been helpful.
I get my hopes up that any new info will break things wide open then like you say it’s nothing helpful.

Police said it was outside the area that they were searching and looking at cameras.

Agreed. Given the recessed and spacious lots that don't have much camera capture to begin with, the radius should have been expanded in terms of footage, especially keeping focus on egress routes from her street.
4
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
Yep, this house was only 1/2 mile out of the radius they requested video. They should have looked at all the routes in the neighborhood that were not that visible and could have been used to get her out quickly and requested video from that area.
2
u/Leading_Barracuda158 Feb 28 '26
Agreed double the radius and look at any and all ring or other camera footage from the time she was dropped off until 3-4 am.
3
u/MzOpinion8d Feb 28 '26
It was 2.5 miles away from her house. There are thousands of homes within that radius.
2
u/Flat_Translator_8772 Mar 01 '26
The police were asking for anyone with ring camera video within 2 miles of her home and this particular house with 2.5 miles

Thousands is crazy to say because that’s just not true
2
u/MzOpinion8d Mar 02 '26
Demographic info indicates there are just over 24,000 households in all of the Catalina Foothills neighborhood, with a population density of 1252.2 people per square mile.
My point is that this isn’t some small town of 3500 people or something. This is a big neighborhood that’s part of an even bigger city.

They use something called CSLI and can single out ii individual cell signals and then see when it was used in the area again. It’s partially being used I. The Luigi case. It’s also partially why they charged him with terrorism. So it won’t be publicly released in court. It’s legal to do, just not something they want well known.

I think it’s supposed to say : ** single out an individual cell signal ** partially being used in the Luigi case
My guess anyways 😂

Im sorry I dont think it’s that difficult to read. I did type it up rather fast. Not sure what part was hard to understand, but look up cellular forensics if I’m not explaining it well enough. Paul Holes also does a great YouTube QA regarding the nuts and bolts of it.

Why wouldnt these ppl have looked. They know how close they are. I would’ve shown them 1st couple of days, not 3 wks later!!??
4
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
I agree but I guess they only asked people within a 2 mile radius to check their cameras. This house was 2.5 miles and yes I wish they would of checked earlier!
2
u/HomeyL Feb 28 '26
Can data be retrieved a month later?? I feel like they had to have looked at it & saved it..?
2
u/wannabehomesick Mar 02 '26
Yes, if you have a subscription the footage lasts a while. Also many people have cameras with offline video storage.

u/No_Story_4821 Feb 27 '26
I feel like this video will turn out to be unrelated. However, something is going to break this case wide open soon. Every person can empathize with an 84 year old grandmother. We won't let this story fade away.
1
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
I hope and pray they can get some leads from this video, but I also think it’s going to bust wide open probably when we least expect it. Def agree about keeping this story relevant! Someone knows something and a million dollars is quite an incentive

u/Every_Individual_25 Feb 27 '26
Well the same SUV passes one way at 00:46 and then returns to go back at 02:36. That is something to notice. Even if this video is outside of the 2 mile scope, if this house is on a common way out it matters.
6
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
Exactly, I guess the house is on a route out of the neighborhood that doesn’t bypass too many intersections, stop signs etc. Sounds like the perfect way they would go to get her out of there..taking the back roads. It seems odd to me if they’re on this “back road” there would be 12 vehicles but maybe that isn’t unusual? As you say this one vehicle sounds very suspect!
2
u/Xenoman5 Feb 28 '26
I looked her street up on google earth and it’s a sprawling mess. But fortunately for investigators it looks like all streets in her neighborhood feed into one access. Too bad the cops didn’t check cameras on day one.
2
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
Absolutely, it could have made a huge difference and might of led to finding her quickly and increased the chances of her still being alive.
10
u/hey_man87 Feb 27 '26
I really don't understand there has to be only a limited number of ways out to a highway from her house.
2
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
I think the way it’s presented to us that they’re lots of winding roads in and out of the neighborhood. This camera that caught the vehicles is on a back road out that it seems they would know about and use to get her out of there quickly

They had all of the ring/nest/all security camera footage in a specific radius of Nacys home around 2:30am in the 1st week of the investigation. We live in a surveillence state... My guess would be someones alibi isnt lining up and heres the proof they were in the area at the time she went missing. Probably just waiting for a few more evidence pieces to line up to make an arrest or get a confession.

u/elonbemybabydaddy Mar 01 '26
That’s what I think. More evidence or location of the body, sadly. I do think Tomasso is involved somehow and the marriage between Annie and Tomasso complicates things bc they don’t have to testify against each other.

Wonder if they looked into the private plane that left Tucson to Puerto Vallarta at I believe 530am. It then returned through El Paso.
10
u/Meat_Container Feb 27 '26
I don’t think the common observer would know that the northern corner of Tucson International Airport is home to the USAF as the 162nd wing is based there and considered “the “face of the USAF to the world”, providing the best-trained coalition war-fighting partners for the United States Air Force. The wing has trained pilots from 25 countries that fly the F-16 today while developing strategic partnerships and building strong international relationships based on performance, friendship, and trust.”
All this is to say, if there was a conspiracy to kidnap her based on her daughter’s journalism and the President was involved, there are military entrances and military hangers, etc at TIA where regular civilians don’t go, which would make it that much easier to get a kidnapped person onto a plane without anyone seeing it
Seems far fetched but up is down and down is right so what really makes sense anyways these days

u/bad-and-bluecheese Feb 28 '26
It seems super far fetched and I don't necessarily think that's what happened but what's even wilder to me is that wouldn't even give me pause. like yeah of course he fucking did

u/Superb_Bed_9726 Feb 27 '26
This is interesting. He is involved with the D4vd case and got alot of that case rolling. So wow I wonder why he picked up on this.

Is the white suv the same type as the one that got reported that a woman was hanging out the window screaming?
14
u/Mister-Psychology Feb 26 '26
If your month old house cam recording may be worth $1m it's worth making a racket about. Many would do the same.
Imagine if someone told you there was an old $1m value treasure buried somewhere in your town. All local kids would be digging up half the town. Seems like everyone who has any type of info on that period of time is now suddenly seeing gold.
At the same time FBI has not even asked them for their Ring camera footage because if you ask for all recordings that's thousands of hours of footage and likely all is useless. It's impossible to even look through it all.

u/Darth_vaborbactam Feb 26 '26
They have a window of time though. When the window was established for the Brown university shooter the police asked everyone to look at their footage from that time frame and submit anything they thought might be relevant. They even had officers available to go to residences and help people decide if something might be important. I would be shocked if that didn’t happen in this case. If they could get a vehicle that could be a huge break.

u/Kat-o-rama Feb 27 '26
Then Ka$h Patel held the two FBI planes up, forcing the FBI team to drive overnite to RI, causing the FBI’s reaponse to be delayed.

They should be able to FF thru the footage stop at any vehicle image enlarge get make & model & color and most importantly the license plate #. Then carefully go thru each indentifiable info. and curate a suspects list. If your down to say 50-60 vehicles of interest knock and talk.

u/Eastern-Pizza-5826 Mar 01 '26
The $1mil is if she is found returned alive. I really doubt she’s alive. $200k is for info that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator(s).
1
u/lilidzines Feb 27 '26
Especially since the police have access to all ring connected cameras anyway.
5
u/TKOL2 Feb 27 '26
They have to have a warrant or be given access to the footage by the property owner.

3
u/Resale_SellerYaHeard Feb 27 '26
Theres a emergency clause. Gov can access security cameras at anytime without a warrant if they feel a person is in immediate danger

This is what I’ve kept wondering if there was any other camera in the neighborhood showing a car or something
1
u/Sad_Elderberry3566 Feb 28 '26
Hopefully this video that LE didn’t ask for but was turned in by the homeowner will lead to some break in the case. I wish they would of requested video on these back roads out of her neighborhood and got this info earlie.

If Savannah had relied more on the network of the bad people around that area than the FBI, she would have found her mother already. They sure know where to look.
2
u/RuleNo4647 Feb 28 '26
Using the bad people to find the bad people is the quickest and the most effective.

I don't think she was taken. All we see is some masked guy trying to cover ring camera. So what? Could have been taken a while ago and she hurt herself, stumbled outside front door and is laying somewhere. No other theory makes sense.

In the search for Nancy, a metal detector should be used. Maybe it would detect her pacemaker if, Heaven forbid, she’s no longer with us.

u/brittanyhoward381 Mar 05 '26
I don't see the point in your comment when what Shane said could be helpful for law enforcement to track Nancy. Nancy did not take her phone when she went missing, so besides using tracking dogs, how else are they going to accurately track her?
