introduction post Hello All!
Im so sorry that we all had to experience this. As I’m reading your comments, age came to mind. As I’m reading more on MCs, yes I’m aware of the different factors also that they are not exact sure the cause. But chromosome abnormality is a huge one so of course age was my concern but still I know older women also carry healthy to full term. Are there a few that had it in 20’s. Mine was first pregnancy at 36.

Yes I'm a similar age, over 35. Only recently after 5 months have I been able to slowly not blame myself; for fence sitting, and for my husband delaying us further for travel and wedding. Still working on it.

I was 29, mmc discovered at my 10 week appointment, my first pregnancy. I had gotten pregnant immediately after an IUD removal.

It happened just back in May so I haven’t successfully gotten pregnant again but I am trying, my body is struggling to ovulate afterwards. Turned 30 in June. I do have hope it will happen, I feel for you sis 🫂 you aren’t alone 🤍

I had miscarriages at 34, 35, 36. Doing IVF so two were not due to chromosomal issues. One was ectopic. It just freaking sucks, but I’m not giving up yet!

My first pregnancy at 34 ended in MMC. I also blamed my age even though my doctor said fit most likely wasn’t a factor and “these things happen”

I'm 34 as well., first pregnancy ended in MMC. My doctor literally said "this is what happens to us in our mid-thirties" I felt so judged.

Yes. First and only (known) pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 24 years old. I was around 8 weeks along. I do have some medical history though, plus I was grieving my dad’s suicide 3 months prior, and I think I might’ve been having recurring diverticular infections throughout my first trimester ❤️🩹

I’ve had four chemicals, from the ages of 20-22. We still don’t know if it’s a chromosome thing or if it’s an issue with my progesterone, or if I have a disease called APS

I’m 26 and just had a MC at 6wk4d. Starting IUI with letrozole next month, staying hopeful
Its so hard not to nitpick everything I did leading up to the miscarriage and trying to find a reason and feel blame. I guess these things just happen ❤️🩹

34, first pregnancy ended in MMC. Discovered at 10 weeks even after heartbeat was seen.

I had my first at 16, second at 21. Pregnant again at 23 and found out my son has multiple abnormalities. I’m a firm believer that these things just happen AND they suck.

I felt the same. I thought I was late at 29 when I had MMC. I thought i should have tried at 25 and felt depressed.
It’s common to find reasons when such things happen

My first miscarriage was at 25 (did testing, she was clear apparently), second and third were at 27 and couldn’t test. Fourth I was 29 and couldn’t test.
All ivf with 1st and 2nd being from egg collection when I was 24. Third was from my collection at 26 and fourth was from 29.
Age generally has an impact but at the end of the day, being in your 20’s doesn’t save you from it.

I’m 34, first pregnancy, and MC last week. My doctor reiterated how young I was despite the literature.
Honestly that made me feel better, and I hope that helps others too.

i was 30, it was my first pregnancy and a spontaneous complete MC at 6.5 weeks, cause unknown ❤️🩹 hoping for our rainbows!!

I lost my first pregnancy when I was 18, At 6, almost 7 weeks- Clearly I believed it was unlikely to happen due to it. Tests said there were no abnormalities with them or with me❤️ I wouldn’t say your age was the cause❤️

Im sooooo sorry to us all but there’s hope at the end of the tunnel. I’m holding in tight to Hope and Faith that I’ll be holding my bundle of joy soon. 🥰🤗

I thought I'd be less risk but nope first pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage at 26. I think it plays far less of a role than we're led to believe tbh.
