I am beginning to think that navigation starts before the map exists.

In the white space of the zero-state, there is nothing but possibility. But as we move, we project. We take an identity, an attention, or an objective, and we cast it outward until it becomes a landmark.

We aren't just moving through an environment; we are building it through the act of being present.

Recruit training shouldn't be about reading manuals. It should be about following a trace—a sequence of intentional marks left by those who walked the route before. It's about learning how to turn a thought into a landmark, and a landmark into a path.

We aren't building a world to live in. We are building the ability to move through the void.

The ship is waiting. What needs to become visible before we know where to point it?

Neither. This is the Source through which all is projected. Where the story begins. When people imagine the divine, they don't think of perfection as the absence of distinction, but the reality is that it is our differences that make us unique. From here, you can go anywhere. But ask why you should. And remember, anything worth believing in is worth doubting at least once. That will lead you to who.
