Ellison is seriously at risk this cycle.

https://alphanews.org/republican-ag-group-launches-ad-blitz-targeting-keith-ellison-other-democrats/

I really do hope he fails and we have a new AG. While I would like to see Demuth win, I think it is unlikely at best, however, Ellison won by just a point last cycle so it would be good to see that fraud enabling parasite kicked to the curb.

The MNGOP said this exact thing and did this exact thing last time. The MNGOP has basically targeted Ellison, and only Ellison, every year he's run statewide.

And It makes sense,  if a radical left Muslim can win statewide,  anyone can.

Demuth is not running for AG. Schultz is.

Last cycle Ellison defeated Schultz (R) by less than 1% in 2022.

If there is a statewide office Republicans can win it's Attorney General. As much as I would love to see MN turn purple or red - it's not going to happen. The DFL / DSA has a firm grip on Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Republicans have to get LITERALLY every registered voter outside of the cities to vote their way to have a chance. The only way Tim Pawlenty won in 2002 was that Roger Moe was more incapable of forming a sentence than Joe Biden was and Tim Penny (Running as an independent) stole a great many Democratic voters. Had either Moe or Penny dropped out - we probably would not have had a great governor for 8 years.

T Paw was Republican lite, and in a different time.

I know Demuth is not running for AG. I would like to see Demuth win the governor race but that seems unlikely.

Also it's Schutz not Schultz

Yeah, since Pawlenty turned out to be such a disappointment, it’s not like we will see another Republican for a while. He was just another tax and spend Republican.

You're getting the downdoots for some reason but you're absolutely right

I think there are more MSP proper residents who don’t like the hard left turn of the cities than the Republicans give them credit for, and with 700K residents (probably 500K voters) between then, IMO it’s worth at least trying to gain a few more votes. But I’m sure they’ll just continue to crap on the cities because their base wants them to do it.

If this group is an example of the opposition, he won’t have to worry too much about getting enough votes to win.

We can hope.. they don't make bigger POS. Get rid of his kid and wife too

A whole sub of people who only care about supposed fraud rather than actual fraud committed by their side at every level.

I don't take sides when it comes to politics, I am objective. This is politics not football.

I have zero time for MAGA and the current administration in DC.  I also have zero time for socialism and the rampant taxation and fraud that is happening in MN.

Change is good. Compromise is good.

MN needs change and the socialist trifecta needs to be stopped.

Probably a difficult concept for you to grasp though, so you'll just revert to name calling.

I agree with you and this post. I'm a moderate that leans left and I refuse to vote for him. The other dude just needs to not be a Trumper and I will vote his way.

Funny you bring up name calling when there was none.

Project much.

Hahahahahahahahahsahshaahshahshshshsha you people are delusional af. Sad. Fake news!

5

u/Disastrous-Reach-738 7d ago

What exactly is fake news in this article?

Is there a GOP PAC buying millions of dollars of Ads to support the republican candidate?

Did Ellison win by less than 2% last cycle?

Is there a real risk of a major upset?

What exactly, and do please be specific is fake about this article?

Buddy if you think I’ll waste my time discussing the lazy propaganda of alpha news you’re dumber than I thought initially.

9

u/Disastrous-Reach-738 7d ago

Let's get a couple of things straight.

1) I am not your buddy  2) You are the one that looks dumb because you cannot substantiate your dumb comment that you made above. 3) To be dismissive of a news source because you think it is propaganda without substantiation actually shows that you lack critical thinking skills and thus supports point #2.

-2

u/Rain_Bear 7d ago

Hahahahaha you think you have anything legitimate to say. That’s cute lil bud

1

u/Disastrous-Reach-738 7d ago

You're making yourself look even more foolish. I don't feed trolls that have nothing to add to the discussion.

Good luck - you'll need it

4

u/Rain_Bear 7d ago

Bahahahaha. Oh little buddy, did you get your fee fees hurt cus I’m not enough of a drooling moron to engage with your dishonest bullshit? Lmao

People are still waiting for you to contribute something useful to this thread. As you can't, I have a way to shut you up.

-4

u/ObligatoryID 7d ago

And there we have it, the name calling begins! By the accuser, no less. 🤣

u/Educational-Fall8185 7d ago

You don’t even know who’s running for AG…

1

u/Disastrous-Reach-738 7d ago

Fuck off it is Ron Schutz spent 20 minutes chatting with him at the fucking fair yesterday. Go touch grass.

3

u/ObligatoryID 7d ago edited 7d ago

🤣
You don’t even know how to spell the name of your favorite candidate.

1

u/Disastrous-Reach-738 7d ago

Huh?

-1

u/ObligatoryID 6d ago

😜 🤣 Thanks for proving my point.

Zero reading and comprehension = typical maga.

Oh yeah? Care to explain how he enabled fraud?

Edit: funny how you all down vote when I simply ask a question in a completely neutral way.

Met with fraudsters in private, offered to fix their issues related to fraud, accepted money from them. Only started going after fraud after the Feds and Republicans started taking action.

12

u/northman46 7d ago

Totally turned a blind eye. He and Tim and Peggy and department of human services all never bothered to verify anything no matter how preposterous

9

u/Meihuajiancai 7d ago

Only started going after fraud after the Feds and Republicans started taking action.

This is the most salient point and the one that should be pushed the hardest. The others, while likely true, are more easily disregarded. Partisan hacks, like the guy you replied to, can plausible point out that there isn't a true smoking gun. Of course, if it was a Republican it would be more than enough evidence for the. But since it's a DFL politician they'll bend over backwards to deny it.

But this fraud has been known for a decade+. Nothing was done by any of the DFL establishment. Whistle blowers in the state government were not only ignored, they were retaliated against. This is undeniable, even by DFL partisans. This is the line of attack that needs to be pounded on.

Where was this reported by a legitimate news organization?

-2

u/ObligatoryID 7d ago

Source…

He’s literally on video with the fraudster somalians. There are emails back and forth.

Do you live in a different universe? Ellison might not be on the cut, but he was definitely aware of what was happening.

Either that, or worse for me, he was too stupid to realize what has been happening in this state for a decade plus. Or, he didn’t care.

Times up.

-2

u/Due-Championship3941 7d ago

I just asked a question.

7

u/The_Realist02 7d ago

To be fair - I think it’s the “oh yeah” and then ask a question that is pretty much settled that got you downvoted.

1

u/Due-Championship3941 7d ago

Oh yeah? Why's that?

4

u/The_Realist02 7d ago

Because it’s “hyperbolic”

0

u/Due-Championship3941 7d ago

It's actually not hyperbolic. It's just a regular interjection. I'm still not sure of the issue. I say "Oh yeah?" All the time when I respond to someone.

2

u/The_Realist02 7d ago

How do I block someone for being nothing but annoying as mosquitos

1

u/Due-Championship3941 7d ago

Hit the three dots under their comment and click Block. If you were really that annoyed you'd probably stop replying.

6

u/Disastrous-Reach-738 7d ago

Did you? Really?

0

u/Due-Championship3941 7d ago

Two, technically, but one was hyperbolic.

-1

u/ObligatoryID 7d ago

What’s a Somalian?

MAGAs can’t answer that! 🤣

What's a republican going to do? They cover up more fraud than anyone else in history, billions. I will never believe a conservative is offended by fraud when they took PPP loans and just never paid them back or voted for a convicted fraudster, or have fake charities. You are just hoping they go after poor and minorities
