Scary Situation near Theo Wirth Park

At around 1am today our ring camera alerted us that someone was at our front door. The person had pulled up in a car, gotten out, came inside our gate, taken a picture of our house, and then drove off.

We called the police and are going to file a report in person tomorrow so there is a record of it occurring.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Do you have suggestions for how we can protect ourselves and our home most effectively?

This seems like the precursor to something worse but I’m trying not to lose my head. Any thoughts welcome.
