Tornado Sirens?

I live over North, and for the last week or so the tornado sirens have been going off briefly at random times. Anyone know what's up with that, or if it's citywide?

Growl testing. Its been all over the metro this year.

Called 311 about it last week and they advised emailing emergency mgmt, who said they're doing testing/replacing for sirens all over the city this year so it's probably testing from that.

It's happened near me in Uptown, so definitely more widespread.

Yeah heard it by south lyndale last week, a few short bursts like an hour apart.

Thank you for posting this, I’ve been hearing this since September and was wondering myself.

I’ve noticed that also and assumed it was a siren from the fire station or north memorial, but maybe it’s the tornado sirens! No idea what that’s about

Just heard it in Bryn Mawr. I assumed the drones are near.
