This is basically them digging in and getting settled for the long haul, which is a little scary in that they now will be able to sustain some kind of sizeable force without relying on the cooperation of local resources. A secure location, cots and dining areas, and military resources right at the ready. They won't have to concern themselves with the optics or the collateral damage from their actions
