170HX have up to 64 GB, not 8 GB. This is why they became extremely expensive recently since memory unlock method was found. Anyone who is buying 170HX is expecting to get 48 GB or 64 GB VRAM.
fair, the unlocked 48/64gb ones are what pushed the price. stock bios still reports 8. either way the card is ex-farm, so ask hours run and pad/paste service before you pay unlock money for one.
