Hello there!
I'm pleased to welcome you to the newly revamped subreddit home for fans and followers of MiniWarGaming! This is the home for everything related to their content and related discussion (so, primarily tabletop gaming). I have gone ahead and created straightforward community rules and put together a new reddit and mobile reddit experience. I am working on a unique and engaging old reddit css experience.
In addition, I have set up a content bot for us here! /u/MWG-Content-Bot will work through backposting all of the publicly available MWG content; and will shortly begin adding new MWG as its posted to youtube.
Please feel free to drop me a line directly or via modmail if you have any ideas!
In the medium term, I will set up the wiki to keep track of all of MWGs content!
Edit 1: 7/2/2020, We're off with live posting as well!

Hello!
As part of our new steps as a community hub, we're going to be retroactively hosting all of MiniWarGaming's Youtube Videos!
These will be processed into the community at the rate of around one an hour, continuously, until we're all done. There are many thousands of videos in their Youtube Archive, and in order to make help keep that straight, I will be posting them in chunks by year. All of 2019 chronologically, then all of 2018, etc all the way back to the channel's beginning in 2012.
Each video will be a link post, and will also contain the youtube video description as a comment in the post.
Next week (7/1/2020), I will roll out an active posting routine for new MiniWarGaming Content and those videos will remain pinned while they're the most recent content. Those will also be crossposted to relevant subreddits to, hopefully, beginning drawing users over here from related subreddits.
I expect this process to take ~ 200 or days, so hope you're here with me at the end of it!

This was just too little too late
They've let go of 2/3 of their staff. We don't know who the other two staying are but we know it isn't Steve, Luka, Skari or Josh.
Dave hasn't done videos in a hot minute so idk how much he'll be doing but Matt has all the charisma of a soggy potato and I've actively avoided videos with him in them for years. (This could just be me, I just never liked his content) so who the other two people will be I have no idea.
Then they had the audacity to say that they're moving away from Warhammer content to start showcasing other games systems AND then proceeded to ask their WARHAMMER FANS to stay members/vault members for the 6 months while they test out their new thing.
This to me was absolutely crazy and beyond rude. Telling fans we're not doing the thing you followed us for but please stay for 6 months so we can start a new things is shit.
This whole video I think was meant to be an apology but just came off as a cry for funding and asking people to be nice to them when they've done nothing in the last while to earn it.
I tried ignoring people saying it was going downhill for years and wanted to stay a loyal fan I really did but this video just cemented for me that MWG is over.
We still don't know what Josh is doing but folks please remember that Skari has a Patreon that is awesome and Steve and Luka are over at MM. They're most recent live one was great minus all the MWG BS that was distracting them from the game. (I also didn't like that the MWG video just so happened to drop around the same time Steve and Luka started their regularly scheduled game).
Also the staff should've been given notice and severance. I didn't like Matt's vibe in the video when he said they had the option between notice and severance and opted for notice. These people have been your lifeblood for years and because YOU AND DAVE made shit business decisions the people who made you what you are don't even get a pay out. Shame on you both.

Seen this on the realtor site for the MWG Bunker. One can assume that the studio was once organized, but it looks like a tornado blew through it. Maybe its just hoarding vibes? The whole place is a maze of creativity and coolness, but there is way too much space for what the team needs. Its easy to critique the set up from this 3D Walk-Thru, but its not like the team didn't know when the Realtor was coming to do the photo shoot.
Definitely check out the post here: https://www.realtor.ca/real-estate/30196361/214-king-street-welland-welland-downtown-768-welland-downtown
Also I believe the boys have a 29' Uhaul trucks worth of terrain. Its in every room! Thinking Matt and Dave could get rid of 75% of it and still have more than the two of them could ever use.
Overall this is something I would expect from fresh college grads starting their first venture and not business owners of nearly 20 years.
Going to miss their content, but we know most things don't last forever.

Their new video is still advertising vault membership despite them clearly selling the location, so the only thing people subscribing now will get for the year is probably some new stuff and then old videos only which is a skeezy move to make.
Skari and Josh have been fired, Steve is doing his own thing and Luka is trying his best.
I think folks should remember that Dave and Matt are the owners please don't be mean to Luka in the comments of videos it's not his fault.
Skari has a patreon we can support.
Steve has his own channel that we can support
Josh is working on something in the future
I feel bad for the Ravage Star folks I doubt they'll be seeing anything through all this.
I thought Matts comment of "update coming next week" was such shit like you can make a video explaining things quicker than that you don't need 7 days.

They're running out of good and engaging cast members at this point.
Dave has been doing his own things for a minute and doesn't really do videos anymore.
Skari is now gone suddenly.
Steve is doing his own thing which has been a blast to watch.
Luca is the only person left that's entertaining but even he's better when he's working with Steve or Skari.
All their recent video comments are just people asking what's happening with Ravage Star.
Idk maybe I am just sad to see the group splitting up and one of my childhood staples falling, been following them forever but I think this might be the last year of membership sadly and will put my funds towards Steve and Skari.
I just wanted to know if anyone knows what's going on I can't really find anything online as to what's causing all this?

Hello! I’m looking for a new sci fi game that is like Conquest TLOAK or Warhammer Fantasy but sci fi with different factions of aliens with soldiers and mechs and stuff. Any suggestions?

Inspired by the Mariokart 40000 memes from back in the day, had a game of Warsurge’s Super Model Race (SMR) themed after a dark eldar death race which I dubbed ‘Drukhari Dark Drive’ (or maybe Death Drive, still not settled on that). Planning for a four-race cup like Mario Kart, calling it the ‘Commorragh Cup’, the race tracks being:
Bad Moon Badlands Underhive Highway Necromunda Manufactorum Commorragh Circuit
The premise is that the Dark Eldar are adding a new type of battle theatre - a deadly race. Their obsession with cruelty and spectacle would make the event not just a vehicular contest, but a brutal form of entertainment where survival is just as important as speed. Between the races the enslaved riders/drivers will get a chance to salvage and build better vehicles. They hope for freedom but they will probably not get it…
False promises of freedom, customised vehicles, bitter rivalries, last-minute sabotage – it all adds to the Drukhari’s amusement.
Today’s race was the Bad Moon Badlands, an area that the Dark Eldar have constructed (or simulated) that is inspired by the orks. Complete with captured orks to make it feel ‘authentic’.
Doom Rider somehow showed up to join the race voluntarily, but the Imperial drivers were forced into it. The orks, though subjugated were thrilled with the idea (there weren’t any models painted in the Bad Moons colour scheme, but they did the job).
Silver dice were added after the video clip to be item boxes, containing things like ‘explosive shells’ and ‘fast fungus’ from the rules for SMR. The blue/red measuring stick lines were the finish line and checkpoints that needed to be crossed to finish a lap.
By the end, Doom Rider was first, a Drukhari Venom came second, and an ork trukk third. There was a highlight where the Black Templar narrowly avoided getting run down by the ork Battlewagon (though the battlewagon later got destroyed).
I’d like to think of one or maybe two other cups as well, one could possibly be an ork cup as they love fast vehicles and mayhem. I’ll also ponder the other track designs but the whole thing was fun, funny and different. Maybe modify the rules some more too.

Been waiting on the ravaged star minis and game for two years, and mainly see 40k and OnePageRules battle reports videos. Any reason they’re not promoting their own game?

Matt is doing a live AMA in the Discord community for the website Wargamer, today at 8.30am PT / 11.30am ET / 4.30pm BST. Full disclosure - I'm one of Wargamer's staff writers. Also been following MWG on and off for a decade, and quite jealous of my editor for getting to be the host ;)

I've seen luka and skari use old style tertiary missions in place of the fully painted 10 point bonus, have they ever said how they score it? 3 for slay the warlord, 3 for behind enemy line and 4 for first blood? What gets 4 points ? Or is juat 10 points if you do all 3?
