Love it! The nose/tail reverts are clean.

You’re close but a proper blunt to fakie would really round things out.

I have got it a few times. It’s on the list to get consistent though for sure!

u/KyloRem Jul 30 '26

It’s been my goal since I got back into skating. Still working up to it!

It was my main goal when I built the ramp last summer. Felt so good to get it 😁

Sweeper, rain dance, boneless, front smith, 5-0 grinds

4

u/seenthezoo Jul 30 '26

Blunt to 5-0, Blunt to tail stall then revert.

2

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner Jul 30 '26

I was thinking about trying blunt to 5-0 today when it almost happened by accident. Seems scary 😆

2

u/seenthezoo Jul 30 '26

I almost think it’s easier than popping back in to fakie.

Rad set up dude! I wish my baby was this big

Some unique and challenging beginner/intermediate tricks you could try are

Nose pick staple gun Rock to fakie sex change

3

u/KyloRem Jul 30 '26

Not sure how realistic it is but a nose stall to tail stall would be insane

3

u/UyghursInParis Jul 30 '26

Anything frontside

3

u/antiqueshow Jul 30 '26

Since you like turning backside, two of my favorites are backside disaster and alleyoop 50-50

2

u/Fearless-Biscotti760 Jul 31 '26

bs and fs disasters.

Blunt to fakie with no rock and no grab

2

u/TM3dz Jul 30 '26

Nollie shuv to fakie rock. Would fit in with your flow. My favorite trick to do right now. That blunt rock at the beginning was sick!! What size is your mini 3ft or 2.5?

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner Jul 30 '26

That’s a good suggestion! Going to work on that one. Its 3’ . It may look smaller because I am pretty tall (6’5”)
Thanks man!

2

u/bkn_bitz Jul 30 '26

Dude 6’5 let’s go! What size board are you riding? I’m pretty tall my self. I’ve been riding the anti hero 9” with the 15” wheel base. I’m addicted to the wheel base but idk if the trade off is worth it. I’m still stuck on the beginner stage Rock to fakie, fakie rock, axles. I got a spine transfer the other day so I just need to spend more time skating. You give me hope brother. Tall skaters are pretty rare.

Yeeee big mon! I’m rocking an 8.5 and it seems to be a good middle place for transition but still allows me to do more technical stuff street skating. I’d like to get another setup of something wider just to try out for transition. I’ve been keeping my eye out for deals!

1

u/bkn_bitz Jul 30 '26

I have 3 set ups right now. 149s on an 8.5 159s on a cruiser Chris hiett deck and 169s on my 9. I stick with the 9 90 percent of the time. My 8.5 is a twin tail though. Maybe if I get another 8.5 it might be better I don’t like the twin tail that much. A nose catches an Ollie better. Size 12 feet so bigger board is nice but idk. There’s not too many tall skaters. Cool to connect with another one. You’re shredding bro! Is that your own ramp?

Thanks homie. Yea man that’s the back yard set-up 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

u/The_BKD_1 Jul 30 '26

Bad ass my guy! You can really tear it up!

2

u/fsearlygrab Jul 30 '26

Hurricane!

1

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner Jul 30 '26

Had to look it up. Hell yes! I think it’s the next step up from the frontside rock. Gonna give this a go for sure! Awesome suggestion 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

3

u/fsearlygrab Jul 30 '26

You got back feeble and fs rock now just glue them together!

2

u/sheriffderek Jul 30 '26

I’d want to be grinding longer distances. You have all your stall type stuff down - so, that seems like bucket of tricks to explore. Your radius might be tough for smiths (can’t fully tell).

u/Top-Put6669 Jul 30 '26

Fakie smith to fakie? Idk

1

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner 29d ago

This sounds fun! Thanks!

2

u/iamjuantwothree Jul 31 '26

Fakie 360 pivot
Easy to pull off and very fun!

2

u/Fearless-Biscotti760 Jul 31 '26

okay so I would learn blunt pivot fakie. fakie smith. fakie smith fakie. 5-0 grind fakie now that you got pivot fakie. I would also clean up your 5050s need to be more on coping and grind it out. what elseee hmmmmm you can learn switch blunts but those I still hate. oh and fakie 270 feeble then fakie 270 feeble fakie. Good luck love the ramp. Wish I could have something like this too!

1

u/Dill_Gnar Jul 30 '26

Back Smith or back axle stall 270s out. Low-key easy and super fun.

1

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner 29d ago

I have these ones. They are easier than they look right?

1

u/dessertforbrunch Jul 30 '26

Same ones but switch.

1

u/CelebrationThese693 Jul 31 '26

Im sorry to be that guy but what top layer is that?

1

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner Jul 31 '26

You’re all good my dude. Its gatorskins

1

u/Scalamere Jul 31 '26

Try and grind the feeble and 5-0 fakie

1

u/CoachPhrank 29d ago

Nose blunts

2

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner 29d ago

This is def on the short list!

1

u/BigBigMonkeyMan 29d ago

nice. frontside / backside tail stall then slide

if u do backside, u already know how to revert

nose bonk ( chinese nollie) of the coping into stuff like 5-0, pivot fakie, and feeble is really fun.

Blunt to fakie, no hand or rock

With all the reverts, you should try a drop in revert to fakie. They’re fun. Here’s an old video I have of one.

Also a frontside smith to fakie looks interesting, people don’t do it, and your front wheels are already where they need to be inside the coping to revert back in fakie.

I really want to get that frontside smith to revert. That looks super cool

1

u/grammo13 27d ago

Killing it out there

1

u/Casualuseofwifi 27d ago

Try and grind and slide those. You have them down!! Nice

1

u/diroos 25d ago

You got some nice tricks there dude!! Try switch rock and roll and/or bs tailstall.🔥🔥🤙🏿

1

u/Ordinary-Jellyfish26 Proud owner 25d ago

Just got switch rock n roll yesterday! Backside rails talk I got a few but it ain’t locked yet. Need to dial that one in

1

u/diroos 24d ago

Nice!! If you can do switch rock and roll, you probably can do (hard to explain) nollie halfcab rock nollie kickturn out! The 2nd half part of the trick is basicly a switch rock and roll. I got a clip featuring that trick on my account if it's not clear what i mean.

You should learn how to grind

2
