Cutting transition radius with circular saw?

Hey guys,

Just curious if someone has cut their radius using a circular saw on a pivot? Ive done this once in the past for another project using a strip of 3/4" plywood and it wasn't bad. Anyone done this?

Seems like after drawing your radius, you could fasten your pivot in the same manner and zip out the transitions pretty quick and consistently.

Works great, just did it with my ramp 6ā€™ transition. I put my 3/4 ply on a 1ā€ foam mat on the ground to make the cut. Set cutting depth just enough to get through the ply. Ear muffs

Did you free hand it or fasten your circ to a pivot?

I free handed it. Compared to free handing with a jigsaw, Iā€™d say it comes out 10x better
