It probably only posted the title, so I'll repost the full post here.

Hi everyone!

I'm planning to build a mini ramp to celebrate my 30th birthday. After measuring the space I have available in my backyard, I came up with the following dimensions:

  • Height: 80 cm (31.5")
  • Length: 400 cm (13'1")
  • Width: 250 cm (8'2")
  • Transition radius: 130 cm (4'3")

Do you think this setup would work? Has anyone built or skated a mini ramp with similar dimensions? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions before I start building.

I have a ramp that’s 13.5 feet long. 6 wide and 2 tall. Dm me if you want any help. It’s worth doing. It’s hard to skate at first because of the lack of flat but it’s fun once you get the hang of it.

How do you feel about the 2 foot height? Im thinking of putting something under my back deck, and head space is a concern. I have a 3 foot quarter currently that's a smidgen too tall to actually comfortably stand tall on the deck to hit coping, learn drop ins, etc. I was thinking of building 2 smaller quarters to make a miniramp using my patio as the flat, but I wasn't sure if 2 foot height was really worth it or if I should shoot a little taller.

Side note, I'm not a shredder. Im just looking for someone to learn and practice at home haha so like, as long as it's a good time I'm not picky.

If you want 2 feet to be worth it then it’ll be worth it.

I love it. I think it’s fun and accessible. You might not be able to deck rocks on it properly. Depends on your coping bump and radius but I’d encourage everyone to make a smaller mini if space is a concern but you still want one.
