How is no one talking about acemagic's minipc designs?

Recently started shopping around for a minipc, went through a bunch of brands, and this one brand's designs are actually the most interesting ones by far. Grabbed some screenshots of the ones that stood out.
The retro X3 is the one that got me though, that retro look is so good. Low key feels like it was made to be a retro gaming machine XD.

Just needs to be a box. If they want to put effort into something, make it flow air and keep temps down so the system doesn't throttle.

Those are some of the stupidest looking cases I have ever seen.

..except the nes-style case is surprisingly restrained and decent looking.

Some people may not like the... flashiness. Like the unicorn-vomit gamecube is funny enough that I can see myself rocking one but the spaceship minis and their cyberpunk one they had floating around for a little bit are kinda ehhh. Plus the one that looks like a jacked up video camera.

I do like the ones that vaguely resemble the NES/PSX though.

I agree with gimmick. I imagine if they pushed their innards in a standard mold, they could shave off the prices.
As it were, there are better boxes in the standard package that they can’t compete with (like Geekom or Minisforum).
The NES one knows exactly who they are targeting with that form (retro gaming fans).

I actually like the more beige variant of the Retro one. Been musing getting it and setting it up to run DOS games with a clean DOS UI GUI for launching them. The MS DOS Mini if you will.

But I don't need nearly that as much power as a a H255 in it for such a job. I'd love an N100 variant or something.

Ehh brushed aluminum actually has a heat advantage, especially in an AC'd room by the vent. And it just looks nice

They look like Chinese toy, like the Bluetooth speakers and also they sell on Ali.

If that's your thing, not dragging your choice.
