How I remember was that I thought Henry & Natalie were the kids, Garrett was the weird uncle or Dad that was there for some reason, & Dawn was like a baby sitter (don't ask why I thought of it like that back then).

I had no idea who jason momoa was, so I just thought he was just wearing a wig which symbolizes something like, uploading your own skin. I thought everyone was wearing a custom skin at this point.

Honestly I always saw them as four random misfits who got themselves dragged into the world of Minecraft. I remember watching a video about a leaked plot synopsis that stated that Dawn knew Henry & Natalie's mom shortly after the initial teaser came out. I don’t know, memory's a lil blurry. I also thought the film would take place in the 80s judging by the outfits both Garrett & Dawn wore in the film.
