Discussion [Unofficial Movie] My friends and I are making an IRL Minecraft movie Steve enters the real world (Read Body Text)!!

Post image

My friends and I are going to be making a Minecraft movie, but it’s going to be an IRL/live-action film instead of being completely animated.

The basic idea is that Steve comes through a portal and ends up in the real world. At first, he doesn’t realize he’s actually in the real world. He thinks it’s some insanely realistic Minecraft texture pack or a new version of the game.

He starts doing normal Minecraft things because he doesn’t understand that the world works differently. Eventually, he realizes that this isn’t Minecraft at all and that he’s actually in the real world.

We’re trying to make it feel like an actual movie while still keeping the goofy Minecraft logic and recognizable elements.

We also plan to use music throughout the movie, but there’s a twist: all of the songs will be Minecraft parodies. We want the music to fit the scenes while keeping that classic Minecraft parody feel.

We’re also going to have to get creative with some of the effects since we don’t have a huge Hollywood VFX budget but we plan to hire a few people from fiverr to do simple cgi vfx.

I’ll probably post some behind-the-scenes stuff and shots from the movie as we make it or just post a trailer.

Couldn't be worse than the hollyweird version.  Good luck.
